I've always wanted to enjoy extraction shooters, but they always felt too punishing and hard to progress in. Arc raiders does a great job at mitigating this feeling of loss while keeping the highs of a win high. It also does a fantastic job of immersing you in this interesting and unique universe, creating dynamic interactions with other players. You can never really let your guard down, but it's not shoot on sight like Tarkov.

As an added note, this game is almost 2 different games depending on if you are playing solo or with a squad. Solos is much more likely to be friendly and cooperative, while squads in more battle-royal shoot on sight.

As We Descend is my favourite deck building rogue-like I've tried. Building dynamic decks using different units feels great. You get the fantasy of managing a city and troops, combined with deck-builder game play.

Caravan Sandwitch was a great, chill experience. Light puzzles and platforming combined with a mysterious world and stylish art, this game felt great.

What an incredible game with an incredible story. The voice acting wasn't my favourite, but this game is an amazing single player experience that immerses you through amazing UX and gameplay mechanics.

The best survival game there is

A fantastic merge between video and board game. Allows you to paint your minatures in very intricate ways. Wish it had a larger audience for multiplayer, but the boss runs are also quite fun.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. It fully captures the feeling of fighting an intergalactic war, while also fostering a rallying community excited to be an active part of the story. The community is so strong, we rallied against Sony and won. Helldivers deserves to recover from the review bombing, especially since it isn't even Arrowheads fault that Sony tried to force their accounts on us. Arrowhead probably had 0 say in that topic. This game also takes co-op mechanics to a new level with assisted reloading, and limited equipment/stratagem slots to force players to diversify gear to take down all manners of threats, instead of any one player being able to take down anything.

The developers clearly put their hearts and souls into this game and it shows. It feels polished, fun and replay-able. For $50 I can't recomend any other game.

Age of Wonders takes many of the complicated systems and economies from games like civ and simplifies them into more digestible features.

You can also completely customize your own race and leader which is just amazing and gets me super immersed and involved in my games.
