Day 1 - Oh, look - a hacking game where you can write actual scripts. This will probably be fun for a day or two.
Day 2 - I guess I'll make a recursive scanner to find and hack all available servers.
Day 3 - Built in functions seem to overestimate resources in some cases. Let's generate some data-points and use Newton's method to determine more accurate formula.
Day 5 - This is getting unwieldy - lemme just write some command-line utilities to help.
Day 9 - I think I can make automatic stock trader that builds optimal portfolio by weighing projected profit against risk. I could calculate these from stock forecast and volatility data.

... and there's still a bunch of things I haven't unlocked yet.

Pros:

You can hang the game by writing endless loop
You can achieve most of the things with some fairly simple scripting
You can tinker and optimize things to your hearts content

Cons:
You'll have to learn JavaScript (and deal with some async / await jankiness)

Beautifully written with gorgeous art and with a soothing soundtrack on top. This is one of the few games that I've felt immersed enough to finish in years and I'm still rooting around to uncover all its secrets and alternate paths.

A fair bit of reading might be involved. It also has a demo if you're feeling sceptical.

It also boasts a revolutionary technology that lets you scale text for ease of reading on larger monitors! Yes, it might be a pet peeve of mine.
