So I definitely thought I beat the game once and just got a poor ending LOL! There is a lot more to this game than you expect at first. There are different outcomes and some tough decisions you gotta make. It's a nice cozy game with a little spice.

Okay so this game is one of the cutest cozy games I've played. I love the little mouse. The story is darker than I was expecting. I'm still struggling to get the lay of the land. I have a few loot piles on the map from freezing. I am an explorer so I haven't gotten through much of the story yet 3 hrs in.

So it's the old Oregon Trail, but with better graphics more in depth on the indigenous stories. I adore the new additions, the various different short stories you can play, and the different trails. I wish the Yukon Trail was in this or the Amazon Trail...man that would make my childhood trail game collection complete.

I love this game for a casual way to use my mind but not over use my spoons. You can create a deck for any gameplay style. There are options to not have to spend real money on the game. I've only purchased one thing of gems and it was for a cosmetic.

I personally am bias because I have all of the content on mobile. I enjoy this game because it has just enough unlocking, tactic, and casual gameplay. I enjoy the fact you can unlock different ways to play the map to challenge or ease your experience. I can't wait for it to be completely released.

Okay so I gotta say DO NOT RUSH through the story. You will get something that happens well before you are ready. Take Your Time, save the best for last.

The Dialogue has to be the most relatable I've seen in a game let alone a cozy game. There is so much to do and you have control over the seasons. I won't share anything more because I'm so worried about actually spoiling something. I love this game!

My computer is struggling because of my cooling system but the game is like if Runescape and Valheim had a baby. I love the structural guidance in building if it is a red tile. It tells you why and how to fix it in a way. I love the skill leveling system changing gaming experience by leveling up the skills. IE unlocking spells for faster material gathering. Nostalgia of my youth plus my simulator/survival itch being scratched. Worth it to play it solo or with friends in whatever way you want to.

After 67 hours I figured I would give this an honest review. I love this game because it is cozy. The caves, ghosts, and enemies are slightly challenging but easy if you keep your gear upgraded. I found some of the puzzles frustrating but rewarding once I made it through. There are no time limits. The world is constantly going so sometimes you have to put yourself on a time-limit like when building the farms. I like this game because its exploration, some customization, and world building with a story. No relationships besides becoming master craftsmen and fixing shops. I'm still enjoying it after all this time in. You set your own pace.

So I've put quite a bit of time into this game. I am still learning but the framework is intriguing. The quest/map indicators I'm still getting sorted out but the main story and other stories are quite interesting.

Truthfully I'm having so much fun exploring.

11/12/24 update
This game is wonderful. The developers actively interact with you on their discord and have been patching daily since release. I'm not sure which I love more the story of the game or the experience with their team.

This game is a wonderful blend of all the games you enjoy. If you like the idea of catching pets that fight for you and work for you. If you like the idea of exploring and base building. If you like the idea of a relaxing or difficult game. Worth every dime you spend to have this game. The only thing I wish there was...a dedicated server option that wasn't a 3rd party option.
