Victoria 3 is perhaps one of the few paradox games that feels targeted mostly in economy and politics building than warfare.
Like a combination of Democracy and a production management game in the shape of a grand strategy.

As a player that loves the 1936-1939 HOI4 pre-war building more than the war itself i thing the underline mechanics are what i was personally looking for.

Is it perfect? God no it is missing a lot of flavor and a lot of tweaking in its systems.
But unfortunately that is the paradox model (or fortunately if you consider it has kept EU4 alive and more fun than ever for years).

Even Warfare that has split the community for me has solid basis as a mechanic but needs a lot of fixes to be really at the level that i would describe as Ok.

But if you are looking for a Victorian era Economic and political simulator this is the game for you as it is for me.
7.5/10 and with the addition of country and political flavor combined with a lot of quality of life work and mechanic fixes it might prove to be one of the best paradox games for me.

I believe the Developers have the right mind set for the game and if they do their do diligence will have a perfect game
