A very chill game in solo and more fun in multiplayer but terrible for achievement hunting.

In case of graphics this game may not be very fancy but the core concept of doing tasks can be simply done without having to use a lot of concentration. Things happen at a rather slow and steady speed, resulting in quickly getting more hours of playtime than you would have expected for your progress.

It would be great for achievement hunters if all players could progress achievements for everyone in the session, especially with some achievements being extremely scaled up compared to how much you would get done just by playing. While achievements are rather streamlined in amount of things needed to be done, the speed of doing those different tasks vary a lot and might get left behind when playing in Multiplayer, making the hunting take longer due to more tasks needing to be done solo than already done in a group.

Enjoyed the concept of the game so far. It would certainly be nice to get better ways of automating distribution of resources between late-game hybrid machines in the future. My personal ideas for that would be to allow some in-between storage which would be quite useful to store materials after Tier 2 machines and then distribute them better towards multiple hybrid machines. Something very cool could also be pre-sets of conveyor splitters, or something similiar, so people don't have to fumble into their system trying to open/close the correct conveyor exits of the splitters.

I enjoyed the game a lot while playing through it.
As a fan of open world maps where optional objectives, for bonus loot or whatever, are trackable by unlockable location markings or other usable in-game tools...completing the map was fun.
The big amount of unlockable, chosable, passive and activatable effects also made the combat fairly enjoyable for me. You could decide whether to adapt your playstyle once you unlock different ways of combat or enhance your current way of combat almost whenever you wanted.
Especially as a co-op game I got quite the entertainment from exploring, doing story and engaging in combat with enemies, with a friend.

Fun and chaotic co-op game. We played it through as 2 players and while not every level is guaranteed to achieve every objective first try (due to obtained knowledge of the level), it also isn't forcing you to do dozens of attempts for those objectives.
The levels themself feel fairly balanced aswell. There rarely were levels where, in my opinion, balancing of tasks per area was bad for multiplayer.

All in all both, the levels and the achievements, felt very fair to go through and fully complete while also being fun, depending on the chaos.

Early Access Review
Having quite some fun playing the game with friends.
Compared to other games that I played and that have a similiar gameplay, I like it a lot how you can defend yourself in this game.
It does not feel like you have barely any chances to fight or escape enemies as quite a lot of ways to fight or hide are available.
These usually increase with the rising challenge, the further you get into a run, which also is a nice touch.

TL;DR: Interesting idle game concept but likely less enjoyable without a guide if you want to progress further without missing stuff.

It's an idle game that certainly has some depth considering what I've been seeing on the internet.
That itself is also the reason why the game felt kind of odd when I first started it. While managing to unlock more upgrades and working on trophies, some things just feel hidden and not highlighted as important when you actually need them.

The gameplay focusses more on swapping your choice of upgrades, every time you restart a run to be more efficient in your global gameplay.
And here lies the biggest problem. Without a guide you will start to question why progress might hit a big bump, likely because u missed something.
That's the reason I'm using a guide which shows me important things for my current progress and tells me about things I could do, might do but not need to or shouldn't do yet. It gives a better feeling of knowing that you will make progress and not constantly bump your head on a wall.

It's only interesting to play for like the first ~15% of your overall progress.
Everything after is only an extremely slow grind with less then a handful of new content and barely reachable and/or noticable progress points.

I had fun playing through this platformer. It started of rather easy but the difficulty increased (in most cases) the further you get into the game. Working on obtaining all gems was an adventure and obtaining every gold medal in the time trial variants was challenging. Certain levels fully allow you to focus on obtaining maximum speed which feels amazing, even if it comes with the risk of easier hitting obstacles.
Great, challenging, platformer overall.

2 new characters with new playstyles that both don't require pushing weapon upgrades actively.

One character focusses towards stacking an own damage over time debuff OR actively keeping up summoned minions (plants) OR (something I didn't bother about) staff weapons and their weapon skills.

The other character can focus either on keeping non-bosses afloat and/or marked for bonus damage or easy targeting OR transforming into another form with mainly melee (AoE) moves, a second health bar and the goal of hitting everything hard with their bare fists OR something I didn't bother checking out as the other 2 sounded great.

Both are fun to play for me while the deer certainly pushes a unique playstyle in the game. When I think about mainly melee combat I remember the green bird who is sent to the bench when compared to the new transformation with entire (and additionally unlockable) attack sets.

So far... I had fun playing the game and puzzling through the escape rooms.
Since the recent release, almost all of the bugs, that me and my friend encountered, have been removed from the game.
The puzzles themself have a decent difficulty. We didn't need any hints for the puzzles themself, only second runs to complete certain rooms in trophy time.
Both visual design and background music were fitting towards the chosen area themes without distracting you most of the times...except maybe one space level.

So far only two bugs slightly annoyed us, which include one item often being invisible for one player in one space level and some sort of de-sync stopping a player from continuing a puzzle in the first level of the last area.

Also, whoever made the lobby secrets...
You really should offer some tools ingame for your "out of the usual" puzzles...
