its crazy to think how much of my life is on a game, and even more wack thinking how diverse people who come to this game are.
you want a "internet" experience? go to public worlds
you want friends? find them in friends+/group instances (age verified helps filter the trolls) and go to places you enjoy (games, movies, dance clubs).
learn to make an avatar, or have friends that will help you learn (don't ask people like me who don't know how to make good avi's xD)

people will come and go while you play, so the friends you really vibe with should be the ones you talk to outside of vrchat to play other games :D
