Review of Aria of Sorrow:

The game is fantastic. I haven't played the others yet, but this one is special to me. After playing this on my GBA, experiencing it on a screen that I can actually see was fantastic.

Getting monster souls and using them was a very unique experience that could be almost perfect if they change the collecting system.

Other than that, gameplay is good. Also, the secrets you unlock are amazing - a boss rush and a new character.

8/10 Love to kill more monsters in Dracula's castle.

Review of Circle of the Moon:

Look, I don't want to be overly negative, but this game feels incredibly dated.

First of all, the game is barely visible on the Gameboy Advance, and running in this game is physically uncomfortable due to the developer’s questionable decision to implement it with a double tap on the dpad!!!

The castle design is super bad, I found myself running around aimlessly for too long.

That said the DSS (Dual Setup System) system is pretty cool, but why do I need to use an ability to learn what it does?!!

The bosses though were mostly great. I loved the hard difficulty of the bosses, but some of them like the final boss just go on for far too long and they aren’t that fun to face (repetitive).
However all the bosses have excellent designs, all of them look great and fit the theme perfectly.

The rewards for beating the game are pretty good. You unlock new game modes with varying difficulties, which force the player to approach the game in a new way.

The Battle Arena was tough, but I think it’s a solid challenge for those who are looking for it.

Look, this game isn’t great, but it was one of the foundations for Aria of Sorrow, so I’ll give it some leeway.
5/10 – Okay-ish castle.
