This game was already one of my favourites before the update that brought some well needed combat and scaling changes and now that it's evolved into DG: Afterlife it's probably my favourite ever metroidvania-souls like ever. Gameplay is tight bosses are fun and at times really damn difficult as well as allowing you to re-fight them except they have new moves and stats, these heroic difficulty fights are also actually reward you for beating them with loot and essence (Souls). The story is also pretty great though could have been better in some areas and the art and music are top-tier.

Super fun once you stop mashing buttons and look for proper counter and parry windows.

It's very good but needs more larger maps like in BF4. I would cough up dough for a Siege of Shanghai legacy map.

This game is very fun when it isn't crashing every 20 minutes.

This game takes much inspiration from the Nioh games but successfully manages to make it feel truly unique and memorable. It has some quite challenging bosses that at their best feel just a step away from being an unfair fight, as such when you defeat these bosses it truly feels like overcoming a vast and powerful foe. It can be said however that these bosses are the standouts and not necessarily the norm, though i'm sure with some tweaking the lower difficulty bosses will feel more deserving of their places after the truly challenging ones.

Moving into the late-mid part of the story at the moment I unfortunately do have to say that there are elements of the story that tread familiar ground and some story twists can be predicted though the story overall is engaging however familiar.

This game will come extremely recommended by me for it's addictive combat and stunning visual art style.

I'd recommend playing this game casually as the ranked can be some of the most mentally taxing gaming you will ever play.

Blood West is extremely good and very punishing. It's enemy design is varied and unique and it's core gameplay loop is addictive. I love pretending to be a desert crow picking up anything remotely shiny.

The most rage-inducing fantastic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ speedrun game ever.

It's has so much potential and good story writing but it is constantly stabbed in the back by near constant bugs of all shapes and sizes. It would be an easy recommend if they fixed all of the bugs but there are so many i'm not sure they ever could get them all.

Good, Short, Simplistic almost to a fault but crashes when moving between areas a fair bit.
