Here we go again...

Throne and Liberty's portrayal of women as customizable and controllable characters has not yet failed to amuse me.

You see, this game is not just a pay-to-win MMORPG you play with friends. It's your once-in-a-lifetime experience that emerges from totally NOT recycled ideas.

Some obsess over the countless possibilities a game allows for character customization. Heck, it even lets you take a selfie and upload it to their servers in an attempt to replicate your face onto your character design (please ignore this feature if you see it during CC). But the amount of options NCSoft offers is undeniably generous. The over-exaggerated, idealistic, and jaw-dropping character models paired with just the right amount of physics to edge men (and women) will never cease to amaze me.

All jokes aside, this is perfect. An MMORPG with astonishing graphics and optimization? That's a game I'd love to play for a very long time. Right...

Right, now time for the real review.

Yeah, this game becomes pay-to-"win" (or slightly get ahead). Uh, if you consider cracking top 5 is paramount to your self-worth.

Please Stop.

You will never be near the top without an active guild, friends, money, and most importantly — time.

This applies to every MMORPG really, but with TL, the desire to be the best is non-existent.
There is absolutely no reason to be near that level of fame.

The mixed reviews are strange. I strongly believe the sudden focus on PvE content is crucial to TL's lifespan. Sure, the lack of communication from the developers does not meet your needs.

And oh no, it became a cash-grab game.
What the hell do you expect from a free-to-play MMORPG?
Start a protest or simply play a better MMO.

This game is only ever as good as your playstyle.
We love how attractive our characters can be.
Though, if you enjoy PvE and grinding gear for the joy of collecting, then I promise you will have an amazing time. But if you prefer PvP, you'll never have fun without breaking your bank.

If you plan to play from Australia/New Zealand, NCSoft says go f**k yourself, because 200ms is the best we can offer.
