Having to open up my map every 30 seconds is fun...

Also terrible PC optimization.
RTX 3080 can only handle lowest settings at a somewhat stable 55 to 60 fps...

Can't recommend it until optimization is fixed.

EDIT: After a few a patches, the game runs significantly smoother, however there is still alot to be worked to achieve stable frames.

It is so fun to explore this world, and the combat is so satisfyingly awesome. I wish there were more steam achievements and/or overall collectibles, but there is still a ton to have fun with.
Borderlands might be back?

Only reason I am recommending this I because I want to support the art designers for this game. Amazing homage to H.R. Giger, the game was breathtaking to look at and the atmosphere was insane with the awesome sound design.

However, the gameplay was some of the most tedious gameplay I have every experienced. As much as I adore visual storytelling, this was not the way to do it. With not a shred of linearity in a world where its difficult to know where you are and where you have to go, Scorn is better off experienced through a silent walkthrough on YouTube.

Been listening to the Thorofare Hike track from the score of this on repeat!

Yeah, the ending was a bit disappointing, but that was merely the fault of the game's own misleading. The ending is pretty good and wholesome if you are able to look past that fact, overall its a great small game with talented voice acting and a vibrant atmosphere.

On a gameplay level this game is exceedingly boring and slow. However the story alongside some magnificent voice acting and an incredible ending redeems this small game. When I finished the game I was absolutely on board for what it was attempting to simulate, for someone who loves psychology this game was a pure treat to play even though many sections of the game were frustratingly confusing and repetitive. I found myself numerous times heading backwards in the larger areas and when I finally realized I was it would take me another 10 min to get back to where I was before. In comparison this game is a lot like the game Narcosis, Narcosis however being alot more grounded in reality. The true horror of Debris is in the realization of your character's situation in the end of the game, and how it reflects a terrifyingly real world problem of how grandiose some delusions are.
