This new iteration of DOOM is quite cool tbh, especially with all the cutscenes and the story. It is quite different from the previous games, but in a good way, The shield mechanic is extremely cool too.
One note - The performance is meeeh.
I am running a RX 6950 XT 16GB with a Ryzen 5 7600X and 32 GB of DDR5 6000Mhz, with a 1440p monitor, which is a pretty OK build for everything else, but in the "Dark Ages" it seems to not be enough. The FPS is a bit low, but the weird thing is - changing the settings, does not have any effect whatsoever on the performance.
Even after that I still recommend giving it a chance. The game is brutally good, as the other two before it.

Honestly one of the most fun shooters I played recently.
The game has similarities with Half-life but is actually quite different in terms of mechanics, gunplay and story.
The game is almost bug free and it looks gorgeous.
The combat is fun and the weapons are satisfying.
I strongly recommend giving it a try.
10/10 for Vlad the developer, that's quite a good game for it to be made mostly by one person, better than some of the AAA games that are being published nowadays.
