Honestly I've been super waiting for this game to come out in such anticipation but with a lot of the mechanics and graphical issues it almost feels like a souped up version of the Witcher 3 with climbing mechanics and no swimming mechanics

I honestly really wanted to like this because it's a part of the Dragon's dogma series and as of now I absolutely hate the looting mechanics not telling you on the mini map where the dead body is or that you have to be practically right on top of it and looking directly at it for you to get it not to mention that the old jump mechanics we're a lot better in Dragon's dogma then in Dragon's dogma 2 I swear to God I feel like I can actually jump on top of a cyclops in the first one and with this I can barely make it off the ground even not wearing any armor and one last thing I absolutely hate the hyper fixation on NPC's the fact that they all have a grave in the local cemetery is absolutely ridiculous rather than having randomly generated NPC's and primary NPC's well I guess it does cut down on some of the murder hobos but honestly this feels a lot like Elder Scrolls oblivion style storytelling with Witcher 3 graphics and system but honestly it can't be all bad that's why some of the best things that are in this game is the magic and the skills and the versatility with the vocational jobs and the abilities all that is 10 out of 10 it's just the three main parts I'm honestly waiting to play more until they make an auto loot mod on Nexus mods because it's so bad along with not letting us back up the camera with our field of view nobody wants to be that close unless they're in first person

As of the newest update has given craftopia one of the most helpful face-lifts along with making the world so vast and expansive that if you wanna set down your base anywhere you can. I just played through it got all the way to the very top of the world and came back the world has so much more depth to it than it used to and you can see it there are only a couple of cons when unlocking the new tower system that opens up special locations on the map it doesn't actually open up the map itself like breath of the wild does but what it does do is it reveals the location on the map to tell you that you can go search there for something still has issues with if you're not in the chunk the the automation is going then it's not happening the fighting in the leveling system got a huge Nerf especially when spells are concerned but with adequate amount of great passive skills if anything I would take a note from the Witcher 3 and give an incentive to find all the locations especially in the starting area like if they turn in the tablets instead of getting health magic and stamina they can choose to get another skill point I still couldn't find 2 sword locations in the starting area not for lack of trying. But All in all it's an amazing game it still has a lot of character and it still has a lot of room to grow so don't forget that this is a early access game and it's just now getting its bones about it maybe it needs to be filled in a little bit more with random automation scattered around maybe have random area locations with special bosses that have a chance to drop rare items or materials the best part about the old system when you spawn an island you're able to get a boss or whatever right off the bat now you have to really go looking for a fight and I'm not including all the goblins and hobgoblins that feel a little copy pasted all over the place I recommend drawing in some of the late game electrical fire and ice minions into the early game so people have understanding of what they're gonna be dealing with later on and you also need a better variety of monsters but as it stands it's an amazing game so far it just got a great new update and I'm recommending it to everyone

needs an update i cant go any farther except for the crazy long wate times for the energy meeter to refill and for the ungodly amount of wood and stone for the planters and drills. like relay who is going to spend hours leveling up the planters and drills individually getting a little over 1 thousand individual planks and stone blocks EACH planter and drill Thats honestly crazy you need the ability to buy the plankes and stone in bundles of 100 just to get keep all the planters and drills on the same level at the same time i will change my review as soon as there is more content and changes to the system.

The game is great in its intent but it needs some work almost like it's still an alpha I recommend letting the pickaxe break dirt into chunks and adding a multi-level complex like an actual Mineshaft with limited space and environmental hazards at its core it's an amazing game it has the right intent for what is trying to go for but it's graphics and execution could use a little work like I fully expected to have to have a line of dirt going on the conveyor belt so the hammer drills could break those pieces down and turn them into actual chunks and the David and Goliath setup is actually amazing keep up the amazing work.
