When you put together burnout, micro machines, and spy hunter together, you get this. Speed Demons 2 is fantastic and gratifying, this is probably one of my favorites from the radiangames catalog next to rhythm storm, and one of the best old school arcade racers with an isometric camera view that you'll find on steam. Who knew that something that looks so simple, can also be a lot of fun and have plenty of depth? The game also has solid visuals if you get past it's simplicity. This will definitely help scratch that car destruction itch that the gamers feel for a long time, the gameplay is very fast-paced and the crash rollover physics are fantastic, and when you ram vehicles and traffic into fiery scrap metal, or send them flying and flipping around like a Cirque du Soleil act, or zapping them with deadly weaponry, it's very satisfying.

The game itself is still challenging so it will take some practice to get a feel for everything. My only problem with the game is that it's kind of bare bones in terms of game modes, you only have campaign, but it has a ton of events and vehicles to try as well as interesting mechanics to mix things up. However when you beat it all, you are left with replaying them just to beat your records, however there are no leaderboards or new record pages so you can save any records that you've broken in a particular event, Another problem is that it doesn't have a gallery mode, so you can view the cars in great detail and learn the gameplay mechanics in each of those events. They also could have been more than just the campaign experience, I would love to see a custom event creator, score attack, survival, or a quick, custom single race so you could choose whatever vehicle and venue you like and hit the road to try out different highway and vehicle combinations that were not possible in the regular campaign, so it kind of puts a small dent on the game's replay value, however the game is very replayable and very fun to meet your racing destruction needs. local multiplayer would also be great. I really hope that Speed Demons 2 gets expanded upon in the near future with new modes and content either next year or the near future, it deserves it because it's a great game.

No matter what racing game fan you are, if you want pure racing and destruction fun, Speed Demons 2 is a blast to play! Go grab the wheel, hit the road, and enjoy.

The game itself is great and fun to play, but the single player offerings are terrible! No Vs CPU mode, No stage selection for training mode, configuring controls is a pain, no game setting options to configure rounds, even online is a ghost town, truly unacceptable! Even KOF, Fatal Fury, and Blazblue had enough modes to keep anyone engaged, mainly single player, this is criminal to leave these modes I mentioned, out of this game.

Extremely disappointing! What was Arika thinking with this?

Don't let the game's simplicity in its visuals fool you, this game plays as great as it looks. This is a unique twin stick shooter roguelike that also has phenomenal visuals and is a bedlam of special effects greatness that looks amazing no matter what resolution you play. The music is also very solid and sets the stage for unique enemy movements thanks to Auvic's awesome electronica adventure that will help you be entertained! Every vehicle in the game has their own unique strengths and weaknesses and you can find one that best fits your play style, they are all equally fun to use although some tanks in my opinion are a little weaker compared to others. The upgrades and weapons are very fun to use and with the right loadout, you can blow through hundreds of enemies at the same time for huge XP and points, there are so many different vehicles, play styles and feats to pull off that you will never run out of ways and reasons to play this game, and thanks to the "shuffle enemies" feature, no two encounters will be the same. The only thing that could make this even better is more worlds, co-op play, loadout testing mode, an endless mode, as well as some cosmetic customization options, but of course, that's what updates are for, this game is already fantastic from the start, and it gets better with every single update that radiangames does! Everything about the game is very satisfying and it rounds out to be one of the best twin stick roguelikes that you'll ever find on steam, for under 10 bucks, you cannot go wrong. Don't sleep on this masterpiece!

Simply put, one of the best Tetris clones on steam, bar none. The reversi-styled color gimmick and mechanic makes it very unique. There are so many color schemes and cosmetic options to choose from that you won't run out of things to see and play.

If you're a Tetris fanatic, purchase this game as soon as possible, you will not regret it!

It also needs to be on GOG and portmaster for those that want more mediums and other things to play on because this is a masterpiece.

Excellent game, try not to let the games simplicity fool you, this is a unique type of shmup where you don't have a fire button and weapons and abilities charge, you move around the level and position yourself to shoot down as many objects and enemies as possible to level up and upgrade your ship with a myriad of weapons and utilities. There is a ton of combinations and other things to explore that it will keep you playing for a very long time. The graphics are really good, and the controls are smooth, and as far as difficulty goes, remember that it will not hold your hand, you have to be patient and move carefully to make every shot count. You do have different controls like the GamePad mouse and keyboard, but I prefer to use the keyboard because it's very instant. The only falls I can think of is that we could use more customization on the ships and some parts of the game are tough.

Highly recommended if you love shmups and want a good comfort shooter where you can only worry about moving! Can't wait for gunlocked 2!

I do like the idea of the game but it feels half baked and lacking any real depth or excitement, especially this demo.
Graphics are ok, but nothing spectacular. Gameplay needs work, the racing feels kinda boring, nothing like crusin as they say, the drifting is very dodgy and you feel like you are not in control.
The AI is brutal, one wrong move and its hard to catch up with them! The optimization is horrible, especially on low end machines, it takes forever to load the game on my low end machine with GeForce GTX 1070 and around 8gb of ram! I don't know if it's Direct X 12, but it refuses to work. Sorry, I really wanted to tolerate this game but it feels hollow to play and enjoy, I played one race and then felt like I had enough, it wasn't exciting. If you want a good racing game for steam next fest, go for Speed Demons 2(it's far superior) instead, and definitely skip on this one until they optimize it and overhaul it to be enjoyable.

This is on track to be a hit! It could use some difficulty retunes but enough for beginners and experts to be happy with the game! There aren't many racing games that utilize the highway as a track, but this game does it so well and is unique, and the racing action is explosive and entertaining!

Who knew something so simple, can still be stylish and fun? Play the demo and wishlist it! So hang on speed demons, yeah HERE, WE, GO!

I had a ton of fun with the demo, I love the aesthetics and it looks fantastic on HD and 4K displays.

My criticisms that I hope can be looked at is there really isn't a descriptive tutorial to show you the ropes, so when you go into the game, you have no idea what the weapons and power do and other mechanics you have to be aware of. The enemies that swarm around you in world 2 are hilariously cheap, however if you have enough energy, you can blow open a path, but they are still overwhelming and cheap for new and veteran players in a way.

Other than that, the gameplay and visual presentation is fantastic. Some tweaks are needed to prevent the game from becoming more frustrating, but still provide a challenge, but at least make it fair. This just might be one of the best twin stick shooters ever for steam.

If you like to chuck your controller into a thick wall screaming in frustration trying to complete these seemingly impossible challenges thanks to the games terrible balance issues, this is the DLC for you. Don't say I didn't warn you!

EDIT: I'm editing this review because I feel like I gave it too much credit, this game still has balance issues and terrible design choices, not to mention awful DLC. It's not bad, just not great and not poor.

When it comes to gameplay, you'll like it if you're a supercross or trials fan, the gameplay is spot on, the trick system is awesome and the animations are very cool. Don't try to write this off as a trials rip off because this game does things a lot better than trials, it focuses on the pure Motocross riding and tricking, so try not to let the laid back presentation fool you. Some of the bosses you race against are pretty funny, such as the first freestyle boss. This game does have some fair share of problems that prevent this game from being perfect, first of all, this game has terrible balance issues, especially the bikes, the bike stats are horribly unbalanced across the five bikes available in this game, once I saved enough money to buy the beast bike, I never went for any of the other bikes because it obviously has the best stunts for racing, speed, and freestyle, not even the pulsar can keep up with the beast. A score attack mode would be nice so you could choose any level and go for a high score with no campaign interference or fixed props. Another problem is the trick sync events, which comes from hell itself, ♥♥♥♥, THOSE, EVENTS. Those events are extreme on frustration, and those are easily the worst things about this whole experience, the first two aren't bad, but at the later trick sync events where it involves three buttons and then a modifier for tricks with strict timing, it makes you want to toss your controller against a wall, even if you enter the right button combination quickly during a jump, the trick won't come out and you'll risk starting over, thank goodness for the quick restart feature otherwise I would have gone mad trying to complete those awful challenges. But despite those, it's a satisfactory game, if they made progression and difficulty more forgiving and fair, it would be great. Also, the DLC is can go to hell, its cool that it adds new levels and motocross gear, but the level designs are awful, unfair, and ridiculous, like the first level which starts you with no nitro and have to make a long impossible jump without enough nitro to make it, resulting in blatantly unfair play, that it makes you wish there is cheat codes because those levels are abysmal, or you just lose interest.

Get it on sale, and not on full price, because you have been warned of the games atrocious difficulty near the end of the game, and the impossible difficulty on the DLC. it's passable, just not fantastic or awful.
