I really like this game. I started playing during the Alpha phase and I thought it played pretty smooth then. What I really like is the developers continue to work on the game. The developers also seem quite responsive to fan feedback. I hope a workshop is in the future because many of my favorite games benefit from continued input. I sincerely hope the developers continue to work on the game and that it continues to evolve.

A great game especially given it's age. I like the large maps and the ability to fight at long range which is realistic. When you zoom in the detail is very good. The only thing I didn't like is every time one of your troops is killed the game paused and zoomed into that area which can be a little disorienting.

I bought the game when it came out but hadn't played in a while. The lack of tutorials made it a little hard to pick up but I figured it out after a while. Played again today. What a difference! The addition of tutorials and several new commands really made a big improvement. Also the additional battles and maps are really outstanding. I am glad the developers have continued to work on the game. I highly recommend it!

Bought as part of the summer sale. I didn't know what to expect. The graphics are excellent and the game runs very smooth. The voice acting is very good as well, not corny like some games.

I had seen the game on Steam but the reviews weren't great so I didn't bother in the past. During the Christmas sale I decided to give the game a try and I'm glad I did. I play Men of War Assault Squad 2 a lot and for me the only problem is getting used to some of he controls. Mostly moving troops with the left mouse button instead of the right was the hardest to get used to. Overall the campaigns are really enjoyable. There doesn't seem to be much of a multiplayer community and I wish the skirmish pack was more like MOWAS2 to be honest. Overall, however, I think it is the best game out there for the WW1 era as far as I am concerned. You can tell they put a great deal of thought into the game. If you like single player campaign-based games I would highly recommend.

The DLC adds some nice variety to the base game, especially multiplayer. I was excited about the DLC when it was announced but decided to wait a little while to avoid any of the issues that sometimes accompany a new release. So far I have not encountered crashes or bugs. I am glad to see the developers are still working on the game. I really like the WW2 era games, though it seems game makers are moving away from that genre. I would love to see an Assault Squad 3 really. I also look forward to more of the mod makers including it in their mods as well.

Excellent game. I must admit when I first got the game I found the "vanilla" game a bit disappointing. When I started playing the mods it was exactly what I was looking for. The mods are really what makes the game. You have the ability to play anything from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWl, WWll right up to Star Wars all from one game. I tried a number of similar games and to me MOWAS2 is the best of the genre. I also like the WWll era games which seem to be getting harder to find.

I think it is a good game with a lot of potential. I really like the Men of War games which is why I gave this a try. I generally don't like first person shooter games but the way the developers have integrated it into the game is really useful at times. When I first started playing the Men of War series I found the "vanilla" game a bit disappointing. But when I started playing the different mods that was exactly what I was looking for. I think the same thing will apply here. I look forward to the addition of more maps and mods over time. Overall I recommend it and I believe it will continue to improve.
