Game mechanics are best part.
Like the story plot.

This game can be more. The plot can branch out to many different stories that do not have to be erotic.

A good mix of game play and story. Makes me want to start a new game right after finishing it.

A visual novel with 'old maid' game play. Not a fan of the character's is you and this is how you should feel. If that worked, people would not finish the game. The translation had some, not game breaking, rough spots. Like the art. Story is neat. Game play is simple and enjoyable.

Match three or greater fighting system. Dark story with four endings. The art fits the story. There are some question which did not get answered.

The maidens each have a different skill which can be upgraded.
The gear comes in different rarities and can be upgraded.
Main screen is is your village. Here are building which can be upgraded for extra benefits.
The story is quick short banter at the start of some levels.
The events have been fun to play.
It is a grind (in the good way).
And I did not have to agree with a term of service.
I can play it on Manjaro with Proton

The bad:
Navigation is a bit strange. I always find myself in the wrong screen. Not to imply that i click the correct button and go to the wrong place. My habits and the game do not mesh.

Pictures of gear do not fill the box. Having them small makes them harder to see.

Other:
'pay to win'? There is no clear meaning to this phrase. To me this game is not. I am enjoying playing it. That is a win in my mind.

There are plot holes. Mainly timing issue based on game play. You run in to a character which is currently in your unit. The event is episode three when I have not played one or two. This is not a story driven game so, plot holes do not affect me as much.

I have found that there are decorative arrows on the side of the screen for faster switching between levels.

· 'The 'adult' content is depictions of nudity and sexual acts. Most of my game play I never see this. It is there but, you have to go to it. It is part of the maidens' upgrading system. So, you may be able to avoid this by just using leveling and gear.'
There are naked breasts in places. The in game store mainly. The Steam store video gets right in to the sexual animations. When you first start the game there is a sexual animation in the opening scene. Still, most of my game play is not filled with these.

There are many good things about this game.
Art is detailed and themed well.
Character and skill leveling in a way I have not seen in other games.
Having to save a lost character when you lose them to the dungeon.
They have added a monster information book in a new patch.

Some problem are:
Some actions you have to find out about in a random key stroke.
Knowing what the party reset does earlier in the game.
Game breaking glitches.

What made my decision about this game.
Too many stages with little variety.

With all the good things about this game, it is too long. Add a second or more characters, the grind becomes hard to do. Add that you have to replay stages to level characters and skills to do well in the next, which is just the same. Adding the small problems, I got frustrated.

If I knew things at the beginning of the game, I may have felt differently about this. The point that I had reached in the game, having to go back to the start, I can not push my way through so many stages the way they are.

I will be watching for any other games by Soaphog.
