‎The repetitive hope that was always on my mind; right after I watched my favorite movie (T2: Judgment Day) for more than I can remember I lost count of it, was how cool will it be if this movie has a video game version.
‎And yeah, right after that, as many successful movie franchise usually does, it comes with so many video games version of their own. For arcades and consoles back then in the early 90s right after the movie became a blockbuster hit worldwide!

‎Now then, let's fast forward to the day I see the trailer of this game on Steam. Over and over again. I couldn't believe my eyes and always thought I was dreaming. Is this even real? Old franchises are back and still triumph over new ones? Modern silly appropriations, misplaced edgy cultural norms, forced new normality and bad retcons are simply forgettable so they go back again to the roots of the originals?
‎How do I feel as a fan among many others? After all this time?
‎Of course I still prefer the OG better than anything else!!

‎This game has it all! And even more!
‎It's like enjoying T2 for the very first time again, but with more branching stories or let's call it timelines. Making it stay true to the original plot; but also can be make just like What If (Marvel) or Elseworlds (DC) did, as there will be choices to develop the plot further than what we have seen from the movie version.
‎How cool is that!
‎Okay, then. I better stop here. Don't want to accidentally spill any spoilers, let the gamers experience it by themselves.
‎:3

‎My only complaint, is just one.
‎Why there's no You Could Be Mine by Guns N' Roses from Use Your Illusion II (1991)?
‎Why dudes and dudettes??
‎Why~?!
‎While two other songs of Bad To The Bone by George Thorogood & The Destroyers, as well as Guitars & Cadillacs by Dwight Yoakam are there? Although these two songs aren't bad at all, but that particular song from Guns N' Roses was and still the only thing that kept on reminding me of T2 whenever I hear it. Time and time again.
‎Well, perhaps they will have an update for that. Or probably too expensive for the music licensing.
‎But who knows? Maybe there will be some kind of a special DLC?
‎Please?
‎Yeah, one can only hope.

‎Anyway, the game itself is superbly great. Perfect for any platformer-side scroller-shooter-retro 2D style fans!
‎And I really wish there will be more in the near future.

‎And so, for Bitmap Bureau with Reef Entertainment; me and my gamer buddies thank you so very much of making an excellent game true to the original core and even make it more, special for us T2 fans!
‎Please do the Terminator (1984) next!
‎Or let's be more crazy with Terminator vs Robocop! Just like Frank Miller did back in July 29 2014!
‎Me affirmatively likey!

‎-------------------------------------------------------------
‎You have reached the end of my review. Thanks for reading it.
‎Down below is just about the Terminator movie series that I like the most.
‎Feels free to skip or continue further.
‎Hasta la vista, baby!
‎Easy money!
‎X3
‎-----------------------------------------------------

‎From among all of the Terminator movies; I only like four of 'em. It goes like this:

‎1. Terminator (1984)
‎-The one who started it all. With very limited special effects but still awesomely done! Considering there was no CGI stuff back in the 80s. Everything are real and cost quite much, but well donely made. Realistic animatronics, prosthetic props, miniature models and everything else made straight out of creativities from the brains of special effects artists.
‎Kudos to Stan Winston and Gene Warren Jr.
‎The good ol' days of making movies.
‎Even add more with the casts of Michael Biehn, Lance Henriksen, Paul Winfield, Earl Boen and of course Linda Hamilton as the damsel in distress are so great in this one!

‎2. Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)
‎-This game is heavily emphasis of this particular movie.
‎Linda Hamilton's transition from an ordinary helpless girl into a totally badass woman this time is so contrast yet excellent, also with Edward Furlong and Robert Patrick are simply the absolute best!
‎Plus now the special effects using the best of both worlds, CGI and SFX/VFX.
‎Instantly one of my favorites among all of the franchise and I prefer this ending better.
‎Chillax, no spoilers!
‎:3

‎3. Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003)
‎-Yeah, as we all knew Edward Furlong was supposed to act on this one. But still, from all of the other replacements; I think Nick Stahl's also great as John Connor. And so's Kristanna Loken as T-X, the hawt Killing Machine. Yet I knew her firstly from Bloodrayne The Movie (2005).
‎Well, enough rambling...
‎Let's moving on!

‎And finally...
‎4. Terminator Salvation (2009)
‎Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood, Anton Yelchin, Jadagrace Berry and many more. Great casts!
‎As well as the excellent relevant plot, loving it from the start to the very end.

‎>Last but not least, perhaps you noticed why I don't mention even once of Arnold Schwarzenegger? It's nothing personal. He'll be back.
‎And the main reason? I still prefer to keep my clothes, my boots, and my motorcycle.

‎An instant buy. Without any regrets nor hesitation. A mildly serious yet truly hilarious plot exclusively for adults or mature players...eeerrr...gamers of 21+.

‎Most of the jokes are quite wild yet spot on. So wacky I couldn't stop laughing. And I rarely laughed this hard. So yeah.
‎:3

‎It played similarly just like The Wolf Among Us, Telltale's The Walking Dead and Tales From The Borderlands (...yes, some of the people from AdHoc Studio made those excellent story-rich games, and they're all my favorites).
‎Add with a bit of simulation tactical strategic management of dispatching the right person or team to deal with daily problems in a superhero(ish) universe.

‎I couldn't put it down once I started it. You will definitely hooked from the start, until the end.
‎It's really that good!
‎Well of course, if this type of game is up to your liking.
‎X3

‎Though I wish we can choose the gender of the protagonist be as a man or woman. But yet; still I love this one all the way, just like any other games that mostly the protagonists (MC) are men or boys.
‎No problemo!
‎As long as the gameplay's enjoyable and the plots are top-notch, why not?!

‎My heartfelt gratitude sincerely genuine to AdHoc Studio and Critical Role.
‎For making a balanced game anyone can enjoy without any kind of forced inclusivity BS.
‎Enough is enough.
‎It is time for the real cultural reset in gaming.

‎------------------------------------------------------
‎That's all, folks!
‎Feels free to skip the rest down below, or continue reading my ramblings.
‎Thanks for your precious time reading my mediocre and boring review above.
‎:3

‎Still here? Then prepare to endure my ramblings, lol!

‎The data proves which types of games are the big sellers.
‎Statistically speaking, we already know which games sell the most.
‎Gamers around the world have already proven which games sell best!

‎Inclusivity in a gaming universe? To be brutally honest; I find this word a bit strange and confusing. Because they don't include people who disagrees with them. So I don't think that's the right way at all. Besides, being different doesn't make anyone exceptionally special. In the end, we all just humans with various personalities and characteristics.

‎If I dislike a game because of one or several things in it, that doesn't automatically makes me a hater or instantly a whatever-phobic.
‎If there's a person who disagree with me, then I respect that person's opinion without labelling nor being immaturely judgmental about it.

‎I have the right to choose what I prefer to buy and play. It's that simple.

‎Don't get me wrong. Sometimes I don't know how to say anything without being so offensive, but I always say what's on my (unfiltered) mind. That's just the way it is. That's just who and what I am.
‎While there's a handful of sensitively fragile people, that will always so easily offended by almost anything and anyone.
‎On the contrary; I never be offended by any disturbing or offensive contents within any kind of games. Yet I have the right to choose whatever I want and truly enjoy it from the start until the very end.
‎And I am quite sure that I'm not the only one. Plenty of other gamers out there are the same as me.
‎So, yeah. In the end, there will always be two sides. Just like my favorite wrestler said:

‎"Some people born as empathically wise and tough humans, while others as whiny crybaby jabronis"
‎-Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri aka Iron Sheik.

‎Those words are not labelling, just giving a fact of life. Like it or not, we must live with it. Day by day.
‎Enough rambling. 'Nuff said.

‎So once again for all of dudes and dudettes at AdHoc Studio with Critical Role, thank you abundantly!
‎Let the real cultural reset in gaming begins rapidly!
‎Me? Absolutely likey!

I can only wish 2K someday will resell their WWE2K14 and WWE2K19. Right here on our beloved Steam.

Those two games were, and still definitely the best. To this day I wrote the review.

Or why not all the way from WWE2K14 up to the latest?

How about making a special WWE2K with rosters from both ('14 and '19), and call it WWE2KHits or something like that? What a dream.

Perhaps they will, or not.
At all.

One can only hope..

'Nuff said...
(T^T)

Oh, almost forgot. Go buy this if you need some attribute points for your own original superstar so you ca...

*Suddenly got interrupted with Jim Johnston's MacMillitant song, and a famous figure shows up walking down the superstar's entrance!*
Now hold on a minute, playa!
Let me holla at ya!
This ain't gonna be one-on-one with the Undertaker.
It all depends on the playa's own skills anyway, not Attribute Points. But up to ya!
So best of luck to ya!
Holla, holla holla!

‎This is one of my favorite horror games from NDS. Alongside Resident Evil (Biohazard) Deadly Silence, Nanashi no Game part 1 and 2, Theresia, and Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir. That last one is a Zero / Fatal Frame spin-off made exclusively for 3DS.

‎It's like a blend of any famously-known of successful survival horror franchises with a first person view.

‎Dementium is not for the squeamish or the hemophobic. At that time, back in 2007 it was quite scary and challenging, some even unable to continue because they were traumatized by it.
‎Still much more better to experience it using stylus and the signature dual screen of the NDS marvelous breakthrough.
‎Complete it with standard earphones or a headset and play it at night with all of the curtains closed, doors locked and turn off all the lights to make it a lot more immersing.
‎As that is the way I always play any kind of horror games. Old and new ones.
‎:3

‎The plot is great and considered as one of the best all-time classics among many.
Surely nowadays many find this more frighteningly creepy yet uniquely fun than scary. But still has its charms for any classics horror game enthusiasts to go back and experience it again. Just like the very first time.

‎Thank you very much to Atooi, for remastering this hidden gem of the NDS and make it able to play on PC. Excellent work!
‎From dual screen to single?
‎Me still likey!

‎Chaotically random plots yet hilariously great sense of humor!
:3

‎Simple gameplay mechanism even a non-gamer can master it in mere seconds.

‎None of it make sense yet so accurately relatable and hard to put it down. The more you play, the more it will immerse you to stay.

‎But due to some of the contents and some explicit language, it's more suitable for mature gamers.

‎This game awaken me and had opened my mind, so soothingly clear to differentiate from real to fake ones.
That ordinary acquaintance and common friends will eventually be gone. But the truest of true friends will permanently stay within our lives, in good or bad, happy or sad, no matter what.

‎Mopmop is the truest any-living-being-with-consciousness' best friend!
X3

‎And the most best thing of all from this diabolical awesome game?
‎IT'S FREE!!

‎Thank you so much, City Girl and City Girl Games!
Hopefully the sequel will be Doggirl or even more-creatively-made title than ever in the future!
‎Please do make more hilarious adventure like this, the world need it so badly!

‎Me definitely likey!

‎I stumbled upon Frank Sudol's work and BlackArro's Cartoons on Youtube. Back in 2006. Bought the DVDs as well.
‎Ever since then, it instantly got me hooked, line and sinker!
‎His creations are so unique and the art style's truly one of a kind.

‎Yes, I was so late to discover about this game a month ago.

‎After struggling and enduring of playing this game from start to finish, it has potential.
‎But to be honest; needs a lot more work and fixing. Quite far from perfection. And a bit frustrating to enjoy as a normal and working properly game should.

‎Yet still I applaud Mr. Sudol's tenacity of making it all by himself. As always. Pure dedication for his fans.
‎And we all absolutely know, it wasn't easy. So because of that; I truly respect him.

‎Some of you may not know about him.
‎Who is this guy?
‎Frank Sudol is an American animator, writer, and director, primarily known for his independent horror / comedy animated films for mature audience.
‎He worked as an additional animator and assistant technical director on South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999). One of my favorites among many outrageous yet hilarious movies.
‎:3

‎Mr. Sudol is the creator of BlackArro Productions and FSudol Art, has over 35 years of experience in cartooning and illustration.
‎He is best known for creating and producing the full-length animated films, some of his awesome works are City of Rott (2006), Dead Fury (2008), Shock Invasion (2011) and plenty more; for which he performed most of the production duties himself, including animation, music, and voice acting.

‎His animation style is often described as a limited, stop-frame cut-out style, similar to early South Park, but with high-level shading and texture details.

‎Frank Sudol's still active and never stop creating even by the time I wrote this review. His passionate flame of creativity will never goes out as long as he still can do it.

‎Thank you very much, Frank J Sudol alongside FSudol Art Games.

‎And also thanks for your precious time.
‎Yes! You! Who read this review from the top to the end.

‎PROLOGUE:
‎--Somewhere at a gaming convention centre, on this planet--

‎Hiya, bro' and sis'!
‎Do any of you like Kiki Kaikai?
‎*Most nodding frantically, while others starts murmuring and gathers around*

‎Which characters do you like the most?
‎*The attendees split 50-50*

‎Do any of you have played the original back in September 18th 1986?
‎*Some raised their hands, while others not even born yet on that year blissfully silent and stand still*

‎How many of you like a top-down, multidirectional shoot-'em-up (or scrolling shooter) action game?
‎*Some others are starting to gather even closer and raise their hands*

‎Are you ready to show your awesome gaming finger reflexes, in fighting against a variety of monsters and mythical creatures from Japanese mythology? With this game's unique humor style while still can be categorized as family-friendly?
‎*More comes around and gather with full curiousity*

‎What about Pocky and Rocky?
‎*Some from other countries than Japan starts to raise their hands brimming with enthusiasm*

‎Do you prefer Pocky, Rocky or Becky?
‎*69% choose Pocky, 19% choose Rocky and 12% choose Becky*

‎-------An honest to goodness trivia-------
‎The Japanese names for Pocky, Rocky, and Becky in the game series are as follows:
‎>Pocky is named Sayo-chan (小夜ちゃん).
‎>Rocky the tanuki (raccoon dog) is named Manuke (魔奴化).
‎>Becky is named Miki-chan (美紀ちゃん), a character who originated in the Famicom Disk System game Kiki Kaikai: Dotou-hen.

‎The games in the series are generally known in Japan under the title Kiki Kaikai (奇々怪界), which roughly translates to "Mysterious Ghostly Realm or Weird Supernatural World".

‎The sequel; Kiki Kaikai: Kuro Manto no Nazo (奇々怪界 黒マントの謎), is Pocky & Rocky Enshrined. Which as usual, comes with a lame censorship localization just to make this game more family-friendly outside of Japan.
‎--------and now, back to the story-------

‎Well, if you want to buy their latest game, please make a line right over here. And we do hope you will enjoy Pocky & Rocky Reshrined!
‎Thank you for keep on supporting us..
‎*The line is becoming longer and longer, as those who already got the game now can go back to each of their homes with happy faces. Though some refusing to buy because of a silly censorship. And prefers to get the original Japanese version instead*

‎EPILOGUE:

‎As the developer (NatsumeAtari) look at all the buyers from afar. Feeling proudly joyful with permanent smiles.
‎Another job well done, time for the next one and back to making great games for the upcoming future.
‎For any gamers who truly appreciate their work.

‎Myself rambling:
‎Well, to be honest I like both versions.
‎Though the Japanese version includes English text, along with other languages like French, German, and Chinese. This multilingual support means you can play the game with an English interface, and it is also region-free.
‎So, yeah..
‎(^_^)d

‎*All of a sudden, one cloaked mysterious figure swiftly knock me out instantly. Luckily I'm still breathing though unconscious*
‎Psst, hey, you!
‎Yeah, you..
‎Come here...
‎*The mysterious figure from the mist suddenly pull the reader of this review on a shady corner*
‎Do this at the main menu:
‎Left 4x. Right 4x. And then finished it with Left & Right 4x.

‎Have fun!!
‎*then the mysterious figure disappear among a mist.*

‎Heya, folks!
‎Want to earn a side income without a fuss from your loved ones who keeps on nagging you to be useful? Well by golly have we got the right job for you!

‎The work will be quite simple. You will be inspecting cabins.
‎The same one at that!
‎Over and over!
‎Buuut... those are not ordinary cabins. No siree sure as hell nope. All of them are similar, and that's where you will be the most useful. By spotting the differences then simply push one of the buttons right outside the cabin. Easy money..

‎Wait, whuut? What' did you say?! It is the same as any similar anomalies games that were already out there?
‎Well this one got more twists and surprises waiting for you and only you to endure..eerr.. I mean to abide!

‎You will be working there alone. All by yourself.
No unnecessary workplace dramas, no annoying high and mighty co-workers, no self righteous holier-than-thou colleagues, none of the annoying kind of harassments from another employees.
‎The workplace will be all for you and only you.
‎Such a dreamy job to do, yeah?
What more can you ask for?!
‎You are your own boss!

‎And if you really like this lovely company, truly. Then you will get their unconditional appreciation by putting your name on the supporters section upon billions of others (...only if you get the Supporters Pack..).
‎Okay, I was exaggerating a bit. Make it instead thousands of others then, only for the realistic vibe. Or is it millions of others? Nah, tomato tomāto. Potato potāto.
‎But yet still! They appreciate you as you appreciate them! Like a two-way mirror of an honest industry. Wait, that didn't sound right at all.
‎Nevermind then, moving on!

‎Not everyone is as they appear.
‎Not everything is at it seems.
‎:3

‎So why are you still waiting around for?
‎Go check the International Cat Studios and Future Friends Games, for more thrilling experiences to spice up your life!
Best of luck to you, future cabin inspector.
You'll need it.

‎Got this from a friend of mine.
‎Thank you so much, my awesome gamer buddy!

‎It's great to know the beat 'em ups type of game is on the rise and becoming popular again. Especially with this one surely a good treats for any gamers of all ages who likes co-op games for up to 4 players.

‎Immerse yourself as a kid and experience the mid 80s to 90s era, where mostly arcade games always got fighting versus 1 on 1 or co-op beat 'em ups the most.

‎The characters are great. My favorites are only Logan (The Wolverine) and Ororo Munroe (Storm). Because yeah, any game consist of all characters from Marvel Universe without X-Men feels like eating a burger without the fillings.
‎:3
‎I can only wish later on we will also get Anna Marie (Rogue), Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch), Laura Kinney (X-23), Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman). So far all the character designs are topnotch, because they made it straight from the classic graphic novel version and that is cool enough for me as a fan.
‎Yes, one can only hope for those to appear soon, or the devs may prefers to add more DLC characters but not them.

‎The first boss is Beetle. And I laughed hard on that stage because the Annihilus' parasitic insectoid a bit reminds me of a Brain Slug from Futurama. This game brings all the greatness of a Marvel universe for anyone to enjoy in a fun frenzy co-op.

‎Thank you abundantly to Tribute Games Inc, Dotemu and Gamirror Games as well. For making it true to the classic graphic novel core designs.
‎Keep 'em comin' and don't stop with all of your great works so far!
‎Please do the DC Comics next! Or Image, or Dark Horse Comics as well!
‎Sorry if it is too soon. I just simply excited of the infinite possibilites for us worldwide fans!
‎Me and my other gamer buddies absolutely likey!

‎Down below is just a small trivia. Not a review. I thank you for your precious time reading my review above.
‎Feels free to skip or read the trivia:

‎A place full of arcade games was commonly referred to by several names, which varied slightly in nuance and time period.
‎The most common terms were:

‎>Arcade:
‎This is the most prevalent and general term used today.
‎(๑>ᴗ<๑)

‎>Video Arcade:
‎This term was used extensively during the boom of the 1970s and 1980s to specifically distinguish them from older amusement arcades that featured non-video games such as air hockey, Pop-A-Shot (a mini basketball game), Skee-Ball (as seen in the first movie of Deadpool where Wade and Vanessa played it) etc.
‎₍₍⚞(˶˃ ᗜ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾

‎>Amusement Arcade:
‎This is a broader, slightly older term that often included various coin-operated entertainment machines, not just video games, such as pinball machines, foosball, pachinko, claw machines, etc. Just like Video Arcade but bigger and more selections of games.
‎◝(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) ◜♡

‎>Penny Arcade:
‎An older term dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, where early coin-operated machines, often costing a penny or a quarter (simply a coin for the general term).
‎(づ> v <)づ♡

‎>Game Room:
‎A more casual term sometimes used for smaller collections of machines found in a bar, restaurant, or a dedicated space within a larger facility; like a bowling alley or basement.
‎ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

-And if these are not enough infos for you, well I may have the right recommendation.
If you also like animes, then you must watch Hi Score Girl. The main characters are Akira Ono and Haruo Yaguchi. It's more like a rom-com (ish), but with trivias of arcades back in the era of early 90s.
