It should not be a secret for fans of Hitman franchise that shortly after release Hitman 2 was censored under pressure of Sikh activist groups. Steam 1.02 version unlike 1.01 version that is sold on GOG is censored. It has altered and cut mission briefs and dialogs. Also some texures and models were altered.

The example could be viewed in this Censored Gaming video:

In order to decensor Steam version you simply need to download this archive - click[drive.google.com] and unzip its content in your Hitman 2 SA instal folder and the game will revert to uncensored 1.01 version.

Be advised that saves made during one of Sikh missions will most likely not work if they were made prior to version downgrade.

Huh, I had no idea that the Steam version got censored. I have the game on the original Xbox too but it's been a long time since I played it there, that's why I probably didn't notice.

Yes. Just copypaste everything from archive to game main folder.

Do I unzip, then move all the files in the notes unzipped file to the h2sa game file, replacing some of the game files?

Yes. Essentially its just a bunch of files ripped from original unaltered release.

Is the file safe? it says the file is too big to scan for viruses.

Video lists what was censored, there was nothing "racist" about removed content. By that logic whole game need to be nuked from orbit.

i get H2 came out during the edge filled early 2000s but reversing a patch to streotypical racism in the name of "perserving the original developers vision" is just laughably moronic and so is this patch and the people who endorse it

This patch and GOG version unfortunately isn't compatible with Widescreen fixes. If you use ENB DX8 to DX9 FPS gonna be choppy. So it's better to use DgVoodoo and set virtual GPU (I think that's what it does?)
