If you’re trying to unlock the Globetrotter achievement, I’ve got some bad news.

Despite what the description says, this achievement is NOT earned by playing 10 different maps. That description is flat-out wrong.

What actually triggers it (on PC):

The achievement still unlocks the old way by reaching Gold rank in Ranked Siege.

Playing all the maps will not make it pop.

I figured this out after noticing that my old PC account has the achievement, while my level 225 Xbox account (linked to the same Ubisoft/Uplay account) does not.

As of 12/30/25, the achievement appears to be bugged, and this is likely affecting other achievements as well. It might get fixed eventually, but for now, this is how it works.

You must hit Gold rank on PC
Achievement is currently broken

Back in the day, there was an achievement called Good as Gold.

You hit Gold rank in Ranked.

Ubisoft later removed Good as Gold and put the name Globetrotter.

Basically:

Old achievement: Hit Gold

New achievement: Also hit Gold

Description: Completely wrong

That’s why grinding maps does nothing, but hitting Gold on PC still pops the achievement. Ubisoft moment.
