This is the stuff I draw. They usually ain’t got faces and they usually don’t wear clothes, so take a note of that.

Gnoll, hyaena humanoid, looking over his shoulder at viewer. His mouth is full of fire that escapes between his teeth. A wound on his back shines like his insides are burning. He looks equal parts vicious and terrified. A caption reads: "... My Heart Hatches, My Chest Splits Open, And As The Dragon Tears Itself Free From My Corpse, Taking To The Sky, They Cheer, Because They Think The Dragon Is Me."ALT

Self indulgent Pathfinder character art. Redclay, A gnoll Dragon Instinct Barbarian/Wizard convinced that the dragon his parents made a deal with is taking over his body and will one day kill him. He’s studying to become a wizard. Has some concentration issues.

So far, he’s started breathing fire, and a small dragon looking familiar has emerged from one of his wounds. Also, the dragon forcibly changed his major.

He’s pretty much a nervous wreck.

Androgynous hooved, and lizardlike swordsbeast with a pointy metal head and strange tendrils strikes an axtravagant pose. Their clothes can be described as slightly skimpy athletics wear. They have some manner of prosthetics, and a swords charm reminiscent of a pokeball. The background suggests a windy desert under a warm light. Appears to be a style conscious individual.ALT

One day I’ll post something that ain’t a lizardbeast with a sword. Maybe.

“-As you can see, the depicted individual does not seem to be an accurate depiction of a member of the species. Note its clearly visible mouth and teeth, and how it’s tendrils are depicted as stalks with functional eyes, rather than the much more primitive sensory organ we know it to be. Some of my colleagues have speculated that this is an artistic flourish by the artist.”

“I, however, hold that this simply indicates that the artist has never met a member of the species, and was working from an incomplete description. Thus, I hold that we cannot use this artwork as any kind of indication that they ever travelled the lands east of the geometric plains, or had any direct contact with the people thereof. It is as little proof of the Swordfinder Clans travelling east, as a picture of a unicorn is proof that rhinoceroses wandered the Scottish Highlands!-”

Figured I should post the proper version too. It’s a friend of mine’s Pathfinder characters.

…Although The outsider is usually considered a trap option, a generally poorly designed party member added only because the creator felt obligated to do a favour for a friend who helped them with playtests, their special ability can be useful against some early game bosses before they either run out of charges or collapses from low poise. (the HOMESICK debuff is such BULLSHIT!)…

Too many fear & hunger streams makes me want to play old-school rpg’s. Or at least imagine playing old-school rpg’s…
