Manage and customize the project navigation
Control what your team sees in the space and board navigation. Display the tabs that are most useful and important to the team, and remove what’s not. Any changes that are made to the space navigation will be visible for everyone who has access to the space.
Space and board admins can customize the following:
Set the default view for the space or board
Rename tabs
Remove a tab from the navigation
Add a tab back to the navigation if it has been removed
Reorder the tabs
Set the default view for your space
Your default view will be the tab that all members in your space will land on when they open the space. You can also set a default view for your board navigation.
You can set the following tabs as default views:
Backlog (software spaces only)
Board (known as Active sprints in scrum software spaces)
Timeline
List
Calendar
Summary
To set the default view for your space:
Hover your cursor over the tab you want to set as your default.
Select More actions ().
Select Set as default.
Rename a tab
Customize your space by renaming your tabs to suit your team's needs. To rename a tab:
Hover your cursor over the tab you want to rename.
Select More actions ().
Select Rename.
Enter the new tab name and press Enter on your keyboard.
Add a tab to your navigation
To add a tab to the navigation in your space:
Select the plus icon + in your space navigation.
Choose which tab you want to add, and select Add to navigation.
Another way you can add tabs to your space navigation, which therefore enables the feature for your space, is by:
Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
Select Features.
Enable the feature that you’d like to appear in your space navigation.
Reorder your tabs
There are two ways to reorder the tabs in your navigation. The first way is by dragging your space’s tabs in the order that you desire.
The second way is:
Select More actions (•••).
Select either Move tab left or Move tab right to move the tab one space over.
Remove a tab from your navigation
You’re unable to remove a tab that has been set as the default. A space must always have a default tab. Set another tab as the default before removing it if you don’t want it to appear in the space navigation.
To remove a tab from your space navigation:
Hover your cursor over the tab you want to remove.
Select More actions ().
Select Remove.
Note that the List and Apps tabs can’t be removed.
