Something I really appreciate in the small teasers of Rockstar Lestat is how Sam Reid is able to make this sultry sexual persona so effortless and natural, while also having small yet still pretty obvious cracks showing that it's just a mask for Lestat and, as we will see, a trauma defense mechanism. Jacob Anderson and Assad Zaman did/will continue to do similar things with Louis and Armand (and Eric with Daniel) so that's definitely a recurring theme among our vampires. Which, well, welcome to the Vampire Chronicles.

I am very much looking forward to seeing how Sam portrays this arc in full. Oh, he's going to nail it. I'm sure of that. But I do so enjoy noticing and analyzing the nuances in the performances of this wonderful, talented cast :)
