When I fire up my machine in the morning I often click on music that someone has just purchased as they roll by. This Thursday turned out to be a winner. This stuff is an amazing amalgamation of styles and genre. If 2026 remains half as good as this, then it'll be a good one.

Everything from this group is a special gift, and this album is no different. I’ve cherished the music of Ahmed Abdul-Malik for years now after reading about him in Africa Speaks, America Answers, and the fact that these incredible musicians honor him with such compelling compositions, it’s a spark in the dark cave that is this world. I’m so glad this exists.
