Ah, nope! I did indeed make it!
Season 4’s biggest problem was easily that it didn’t resolve a lot of setups neatly, and the revelation that Ben’s injury–and, consequentially, the driving force of the final episodes–wasn’t planned from the start easily explains why.
And, again: I don’t entirely disapprove. It almost turns the story into an AU: “What If One of the CampFam Got Hurt Before Everything Was Resolved?”
Yaz and Sammy’s reunion and proposal arc? Postponed and salvaged.
Brooklynn and Sammy’s stand-off? Washed away with perspective.
The extent of Sammy’s ostracization from her family and the full story about her getting Bumpy? No time for that flashback.
Kenji deciding to stay at Biosyn? That’s not happening now.
Darius and Brooklynn’s issues? We’re gonna speedrun that.
The big scene where Darius meets Alan Grant on the airfield? That doesn’t happen, sorry.
It’s very on-brand with how The Long Run cost Yaz her “joining the Olympic team in 2020” epilogue: sometimes things don’t happen neatly. The characters all survive and live happily ever after, but man, did the poetry of the story take a hit. But poetry isn’t the core of this story: it’s about messy, flawed people in a messy, flawed world.
So, no, there’s no script that they get to follow. No, the projected course doesn’t remain linear. Only the primary objectives can be completed, but just because the game wasn’t perfect doesn’t mean they didn’t win. That’s life.

Actors love that sort of thing. As long as it’s not Everything They’re Known For. If he’s forgotten, he’ll probably remember it at a con or something if someone brings it up. Singing a song for some kids and a paycheck? In a Jurassic Park show? That’s an actor’s dream.

Sammy says her "parents" don't talk. No mention of her "family". So, maybe she still has a good relationship with her sisters? Maybe her grandmother, if she's still alive?
But, obviously, she might not contact them because whatever's keeping her from her parents is also a liability to the kids. Don't want Little Sis gettin' lectured for an hour because she's talkin' to the freak, right? Haha.
