I HATE when I, as an aroace, am reading a post about romance or sex and society and social norms and going to the comments to offer my own perspective and see everyone else’s only for the top comments to be the poster and others being like “romance/sex makes us human and alive and interesting its freaky to not want them/find interest in them/ect”. Shut upppp ur such a LOSER omg
And its not done maliciously, it’s never done maliciously. And that almost hurts more because at least if it was maliciously you MEANT to exclude us, but no. You didn’t even think of us, you genuinely just think aspec people aren’t human. Like we aren’t a part of the society you’re speaking of.
People who oversexualize asexual people always weird me out, nobody in their right mind is going to try to shove sex down an asexual’s throat after they come out.
