my little redesign of boba’s armor!! At first glance it’s not much, just some references to din’s armor, but honestly this is as close to canon I can get while making his outfit as utilitarian as possible. Here are some notes:

red belt/holster goes up his abdomen as a kidney warmer

knee pads wrap around the entire joint in the shape of the patella

Leather shin wrap thingies cuz his tools aren’t as secure in the og design plus they look like they’d bite into his skin

same way with his armor (the flaps that go down on the sides in the og armor) so I made them more similar to din’s

I pushed it further front for the visuals but his cape would be tucked under? In? His toolbelt because his jetpack would otherwise burn it 😭

his little vambrace blade thing that jango had in aotc!!! Retractable ofc

looser pants around crotch (codpiece don’t wrap around so I can only imagine the pain of getting hit there)

mando (din) style cape wrap inside his armor liner

Thicker/wider boot soles + boots can be tied to the flightsuit to make them watertight similar to the soviet hazmat suits (that’s not the only reason they existed but I don’t think he’d like sand or sewage water getting into his shoes)
