there had been. two dates in different countries. Madi loves italian food and she had admitted to Nommy once that she was interested in japanese pop culture, so. he took her to italy and japan once on separate occasions ;w;

going back to japan for another date is definitely on the table—not sure about italy yet tho

madi’s more reserved but she mainly enjoys shopping for cute things, interacting with animals, and watching family/kid movies or specific anime shows… the fact phenomaman is enthusiastic about doing any of those things with her makes it even better ;w;

she mightve even got phenomaman into sanrio as a result-

when Phenomaman first explained how he was shunned for his looks on his home planet Madi was not only horrified to hear that, she had a sense of understanding for his situation since… she once had severe insecurity over her appearance also. she chose her words carefully—she knew trying to convince someone they “look great” when they were that insecure was never enough.

she told him she loved him too much to see anything “ugly” about him. she explained how beauty is a subjective thing on Earth. she explained the societal norms for beauty standards between nations and centuries. she expressed her own opinions on finding beauty inside a person before their outside… and she told him that she would love him no matter how he looked.

it gave Phenomaman some stuff to think about, but the fact Madi addressed his insecurity more thoroughly than other people have in the past was enough to touch his heart. he thanked her with a hug and a kiss—though he was a little strong with the hug at first, but that just means he’s happy ;w;
