Young Roma and a little bit of lore
Roma came from Mexico, became an orphan at a young age, and spent much of his life on the streets. He usually hung out with other groups of children and became accustomed to having to fight to help his friends. Roma never liked aggression or stealing, and only did it to survive, preferring to serve as a shield to prevent others from suffering more than they already did. He suffered a lot of racism due to his darker skin and was beaten up a lot during the US invasions of Mexico. As an adult, he finally found a place to live, but he suffered an attempted assault and murder. To escape alive, he fought back and killed the attacker, partially blinding his left eye in the fight. At the time, Texas was unoccupied, so for fear of being caught or being attacked again, he fled there with a group of minorities. At that time, Texas was known as a lawless land, where minorities and criminals fled. This group created a small town and appointed Roma as sheriff for having protected many of the residents from other aggressors. Time passes and Roma, now old, ends up meeting a cowboy who lived on the farm near the town.
