When he talks to loved ones they seem normal but if he interacts long enough they start behaving oddly. Vision Will side eyes him and refuses to open up, "Why are you asking me about this right now? I have to go Mike." Vision Karen starts kind and loving but slowly starts acting disgusted by him. Vision Ted never acknowledges him once, all he does is stare at his newspaper or blank tv.
None of the TV or radios turn on and nothing outside of Hawkins appears. With nothing else to do he tries the walkie talkie and after days of pure silence, it crackles in his hand. The next day it crackles again and a warped voice says, "Find Will."
On the other side, Will is holding a comatose Mike, his eyes rolled back completely. El is beside him blindfolded, nose dripping blood.
Will is tasked with invading Vecna's illusion and taking his Vision self over to help guide Mike out while El works her hardest to get transmissions to go through. Together they have to save Mike.
