It's time for another ramble-y post because we are getting closer to AvA 13 and I AM SO EXCITED FOR IT.
I have no idea what is going to happen. I have some ideas for what characters will appear, and how they might interact (or how I hope they will interact) but plot wise? Absolutely no clue.

hey it’s ok if you lost your ai virginity back when you were uneducated. a lot of posts go like “reblog if you have never ever used generative ai and never ever will!!!” but it’s ok if you have used gen ai before and it’s even ok if you used to think it was cool, back before you understood what it really was and how it worked, either because no one had taught you about it and you discovered it on your own or because the only education you had received about it was from the tech bros. you’re not a burger with a bite out of it for having used ai. ok
It is 100 percent okay to stop using it today and join the "boo AI" club.
This isn't a purity thing. This is a "everyone stand with us against destroying the environment and giving asthma to poor people" thing.
Did you know that when one community says no to an AI data center, they specifically search out communities with fewer resources? Communities that can't defend themselves? And the pollution 100 percent affects their health and wellbeing, in addition to burning through our already scarce drinking water.
You can stop using character.ai today. You can say "I listened to the facts and stopped." And another thing: don't you think it's a bit more impactful to have used it, stopped, and then you're in a position to say how little it helped? How doing things for yourself improved your life?

!!! Fun Fact about "contempt." !!!
This is the only song from "the before." that never appeared anywhere else! It was a while ago, but I remember sifting through old projects back when I was compiling the before. to see if anything might fit the album, and the only one I found was contempt.
Every other song either appeared on my YouTube channel before the full album was organised, on my old SoundCloud, or even had an even OLDER version on said SoundCloud that I fixed up for the YouTube.
This is also why there's no Lyric-style video for it on the YouTube channel, as the Audio-only version was uploaded after official release.

it's so hard to explain to the average person that yes, i love my country, and no, i am not patriotic in the slightest. i don't think there's any virtue in people dying for my country. i don't believe that there is any reason to be proud of my country above others for no other reason than i was born here. i love my country because of the people and the culture. neither are perfect, but i do love them. the army and the government, though? they can go hang.
on one side of the political spectrum you have right wingers who obsess over the british empire as the height of cultural progress and think world war one was anything other than an embarrassing tragedy and on the other side of the political spectrum you have communists declaring that if you have ever lived in america you should be sent to a gulag. idk i think there's middle ground maybe

i wish there was an easier way to tell the difference between an "if it sucks hit da bricks" situation and a "sometimes being an adult means doing things that you dont wanna" situation
The best answer to this that I've seen is "You are free to do whatever you like. You must only live with the consequences."
"If it sucks, hit da bricks" is for when you realize that you actually definitely can live with the consequences of Not Doing The Thing.
"Sometimes being an adult means doing things that you don't wanna" is for when you've thought it over and it turns out you would strongly prefer NOT to live with the consequences of Not Doing The Thing.
