I use 2FA on every website I log into, and it didn’t ask for any details when I took the survey, but I still don’t trust that thing at all. One can never be too safe.

hi, i did some research on this but this link was not phishing and here’s why:
qualtrics is a legit website that companies pay to host data gathering surveys to collect metrics on various things. you can also create free surveys but from what i understand the survey results aren’t as in-depth as the paid versions get you.
it looks like the survey originates from a banner on the discord app and you click on it and it takes you to the site and you do the thing there. it was only rolled out to a certain amount of people (for the purposes to maybe only get people they thought would be pro-AI? who knows with Discord) but was then passed around everywhere because Fuck AI. And then Discord realized that things weren’t going the way they wanted and pulled the survery.

no keyloggers or malware after I clicked on the link (it’s been 8 hours now and my discord account is fine).
hopefully, this will quell some panic about the discord thing, its always good practice to protect your account with MFA when it’s offered and to change your password when you suspect something may not be right, it’s better to err on the side of caution etc, but in this case, it’s alright and there’s no need to create any undue panic about a link to a survey. fuck AI and Discord should know better than to try and pull more wool over its userbases’ eyes because did they not learn from the NFT thing?
With the release of Android 12, Google began allowing users to delete their ad ID permanently. On devices that have this feature enabled, you can open the Settings app and navigate to Privacy > Ads. Tap “Delete advertising ID,” then tap it again on the next page to confirm. This will prevent any app on your phone from accessing it in the future.
On iOS
To see which apps you have previously granted access to, go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking. You can set the “Allow apps to Request to Track” switch to the “off” position (the slider is to the left and the background is gray). This will prevent apps from asking to track in the future. If you have granted apps permission to track you in the past, this will prompt you to ask those apps to stop tracking as well. You also have the option to grant or revoke tracking access on a per-app basis.
Apple has its own targeted advertising system, separate from the third-party tracking it enables with IDFA. To disable it, navigate to Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising. Set the “Personalized Ads” switch to the “off” position to disable Apple’s ad targeting.

A program linker translates instructions from one language to another (for example, numerical codes that represent instructions translated to machine code that computers can read), which is the very foundation of how computer’s operate independently. she also pulled a steve rogers and tried to enlist in the military a bunch of times and was denied. then, an exception was made for her when she joined the navy reserves, and she ended up serving for over 40 years (half of which was active duty). she retired from the navy Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. she was born in NYC in 1906. Grace Hopper was a fucking badass.

LED, LCD and CRT colour monitors are built upon the design of Guillermo González Camarena, Mexican inventor of the colour television. Without him, computers would still be black and white. Without colour screens, video games wouldn’t have become as popular as they are now, and movies with digital effects would be almost impossible, meaning computers as a whole wouldn’t have grown to be as powerful as they currently are, because a lot of money in modern computer research comes from the film and video game industries.

Even now it’s way too common for people to automatically assume interest in computers = boy for some inscrutable reason. Just a couple of decades ago it was even a common joke that “there are no girls on the internet”.
I’d like to also add Judith Love Cohen who helped to program guidance computers for the minuteman missile and the Apollo 13 mission as well as save 13 when an oxygen tank exploded and took out their guidance system!
