“at least venezuela lost a dictator” “the good thing about trump’s invasion” “maduro deserved it” oh my god some of you are dangerously susceptible to fascist propaganda.
unfriendly and honestly hostile reminder that trump isn’t invading venezuela because maduro is a dictator, or because of drug cartels. he’s doing it only and exclusively because they have desirable oil reserves and no other reason. reminder that venezuela is a comparatively poor country that will never financially recover from this. reminder that venezuelans are suffering with the bombing and the air strikes. reminder that trump did it to steal from them and no one did anything. reminder that this sets a dangerous precedent and now all trump has to do to invade another country is claim they’re in a dictatorship. reminder that trump is a fascist dictator.
this will only be bad, for venezuelans and for all of latin america (and possibly the whole world) in the long run. trump did this not to help the venezuelans or their country, but to steal their petrol and get away with it. and he will. because that’s what dictators do.
forgot how white this website is and expected there to be more uproar about the US bombing my home country, nigeria, on christmas day. my mistake!
Sokoto state, a majority Muslim state in north-west Nigeria was bombed on Christmas day.
It is still unclear how many bombs were dropped and where. Confirmed is a bomb dropped on a Mosque in Jabo, killing 5 people.Trump has claimed that this is in retaliation of the “Christian genocide” happening in Nigeria, committed by “radical Islamists” of the ISIL (ISIS), and the specific choosing of Christmas day was to reify that this is a religious based retaliation.
This Christmas, I am in Nigeria. My family is majority Christian. We are without fear of being persecuted on the basis of our religion. So, what is going on?
There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria. Nigeria is a complex country that faces a lot of violence, exploitation and subsequent neglect from our government. But it is not Christians being targeted in our country. This insidious piece of misinformation has been dutifully organised by US officials for months and gained steam on platforms like X and Truth Social.
I do not believe though, that this action was done to fight Islamic terrorists or protect Nigerian Christians. The reason being:
Sokoto state is not a state with ISIL activity.
This is another display of US throwing its weight around, conveniently, onto the most oil-rich country in Africa.
Do not believe everything the US tells you about its foreign affairs. The US will gladly spill blood on the flimsiest of justifications just to continue gorging its empire.
Please keep love in your hearts for the Nigerian people.
please stop harassing black people off this website. it’s like stormfront for toddlers on here. it sucks, stop it
idk how “black people should feel welcome on this website” became something you have to say out loud. if black people aren’t comfortable or safe on here then that is our failure. be anti-racist or die.
it’s not enough to be passively non-racist. whether you’re chasing people off here yourself or choosing to ignore “discourse” (meaning the rights of black people to basic respect), the end result is a big whites-only sign outside your little clubhouse. when the tide is pulling toward bigotry, refusing to swim against it just means you’ll be carried along too. passivity is acceptance. get mad, get loud, don’t value the comfort of the oppressor over the dignity of the oppressed.

This left only Gaza based mutual aid networks. That’s why you need to donate to the following aid groups on recurring basis:
Horse figure of the day: Little Critterz Pegasus “Flutterby”
I’ve just read this truly harrowing article and thought it’d be important to share. Seeing Gaza devastated by bombs and famine has always been indescribably horrifying, but reading accounts on how drones are used to stalk women in their bedrooms while they sleep, and how phones are scraped through so thoroughly it’s not safe to text loved ones anything makes the situation unspeakably more terrifying and unsettling.
Read Mohammed R. Mhawish’s original article here.
Please consider helping my friend Nader and his family in surviving and escaping the situation in Gaza. His uncle in charge of the funds of the last fundraiser has been out of contact/unreachable, so he’s been forced to create a new one and needs the help getting back to where he was!!
I can vouch personally for the validity of this campaign, as well as @gazavetters (#6 on the list).
They urgently, URGENTLY need your donation.
A reblog that’s all it really takes. There are campaigns on here with tens of thousands of notes how do you think they got there?
By everyone scrolling past? Complain about morality OCD and compassion burnout all you want. My friend Ghada’s family survived the bombing, but they are not safe.
Even after the so-called ceasefire, their lives are still hanging by a thread. At any moment I am not speaking to Ghada, it is possible that she has no food, no shelter, no safety this is what “after the war” looks like in Gaza.
Think about living with ruins instead of homes, fear instead of stability, and the echo of everything they lost. There’s no “getting used to” that as your constant reality.
So when I ask you to reblog this post, think about the lack of effort it would take to flick your thumb and realize it could still be saving the lives of 14 people, affected by destruction and trauma far beyond what you could possibly imagine on your own.

you need to understand that i have two sets of headcanons. there’s the set of realistic headcanons based on my genuine reading of the show, and then there’s me playing pretend with my dolls.
Kiwi really just goes “I know I’m a happy silly lil’ fella, and I want whats best for everyone, but you’re gonna fucking kill everyone and so I feel like I should just leave you down in this pit because you’re so mean and murdery.” and honestly? They’re so real for that
How is your relationship with your biological father?
We have a strong relationship and rarely argue
We get on reasonably well
It can be hit or miss
We argue most of the time
We hardly ever talk, and when we do, it’s fractious
I don’t talk to my father now, we no longer have a relationship
My biological father passed away but we used to get on well
My biological father passed away but we didn’t used to get on well
I never met my biological father
