Thank you for finding a doc with information! If I recall correctly I went up to 30 mg a day (10 mg 3 times a day spaced exactly 8 hours apart) but did not increase from there. Maybe I could have made even more milk if I had and also ate enough for it but saw no need since I was already making so much.

I was told to increase and decrease dosages gradually just as a precaution for heart risks. Wouldn't say I had any side effects other than unsurprisingly getting hungrier from making all that milk.

It also helps to milk yourself regularly while trying to initially trigger lactation. This can be done manually but a milking machine helps.
