people dunking on this guy for being a loser are missing the part where AI chatbots take on whatever persona you assign them. this loser literally said to the bot “You are feminist,” which the bot took as instruction. the bot then started to generate text in the style of a feminist.

he could have said ‘you hate feminism’ or 'you’re my perfect tradwife’ and it would have agreed. this guy literally 'made’ the bot feminist by telling it that it was. it didn’t spontaneously become enlightened and dump him for being rancid. he did a high-tech version of stepping on a rake.
