people talk about how we need to bring back "don't feed the trolls" rhetoric for modern internet ragebait and I agree but also I think the most useful thing from the Old Internet that I miss is LURKING
be a lurker. just read things and think about them without feeling the need to weigh in or call out or disseminate everything you encounter. it's so nice and so freeing and it's a good way to learn things.
I have frequently regretted getting involved in shit that didn't involve me online but you know what I've never regretted doing? Lurking. literally lurk moar

I'm still spraling over 8x01! MY BABIES ARE BACK TOGETHER! Chenford is buzzy again, and I've missed that immensely.
The season premiere was so rich with tiny little moments and details! Eric and Melissa are so good at those, whether it's a hand gesture here or microexpression there. I'm grateful for that.
-First off, the head tilt Tim does after Lucy says "you're cute when you're insecure" is INSANE. He's gazing at her so lovingly, and she's right, he's SO CUTE here (well, and all the time).
-Lucy's emotional, shaky voice when she says "just say yes, please". 🥹
-"I was scared." TIMOTHY. ❤️ The man who was emotionally unavailable, who hates making mistakes in front of her, freely ADMITTING he's scared. I love it. Hopefully S8 is the season of Transparent Tim!
-Mirroring each other with "just say yes" (It makes me think of the song "Just Say Yes" by Snow Patrol, which would be a great song for a Chenford edit, if anyone is up for the challenge.).
-The wonderful @bronx-bomber87 pointed out that when Lucy called him adorable, rather than deflect or downplay her compliment (as is his usual reaction to compliments), he ACCEPTS it, and THANKS her. He's learning how to better accept and receive her unconditional love.
-"Where are the keys?" The frickin' cutest.
-It took me a few watches to notice the rolls of tape next to the boxes. More tape than Lucy could possibly need, and it's just so sweet. He's so prepared.
-Him grabbing her hand when she got hurt, and the way he mouths "oh my god". 😭
-Also, he said "Lucy" 2 times, which brings the grand total up to 27 (of him directly addressing her as Lucy, not including him talking to others about her). (I have a list if anyone is interested. 😂)
-Alexi getting all meta on us with "was it worth it wait?"/"it was a long wait". Don't get me started, buddy.
