Be transgender and visit the American Museum of Natural History
For all my New Yorkers (and adjacent), come visit the American Museum of Natural History and meet other trans people!
In conjunction with the Trans Visibility Social Club of NYC!
If you RSVP before January 22nd* you will be able to see Encounters in the Milky Way with Pedro Pascal at the Hayden Planetarium & IMPACT: the end of the age of dinosaurs for free. This would normally cost $35 (or $28 for students). Depending on the number of people who RSVP, I may break everyone up into two groups so the exhibits don't get crowded.
*latecomers can still see the shows but may not be able to see it at the same time as everyone else, depending on capacity
💎 There will also be an optional scavenger hunt with a prize for the first three winners (everyone else gets some candy)!

Hey, if you're disabled and you use your phone an absolutely obscene amount of hours a day because it's the only thing you can do within your energy budget and it's the one way you can interact with the world. I see you. Don't be embarrassed about that. It's okay. You're allowed to be addicted to your phone. Especially if that phone is the only thing keeping you from absolutely losing your mind while you're stuck at home or in bed.
Don't let ppl shame you for your screen time.

Added note: your art piece does NOT have to be digital art! It can be traditional! As long as it's something that can visually be observed it's acceptable! This includes: self-made plushies, clay sculpts, colored pencil drawings, acrylic paintings, etc.
** This much should be obvious (and it hasn't been an issue so far but I feel still should be stated to be safe) AI IS NOT ACCEPTED. Generative AI for references, gifted artwork, etc is NOT ALLOWED and will result in an immediate and PERMANENT ban from this event.
2) Please do not join if you don't feel you can complete your gift art in the allotted time.
3) Those who are bigoted, racist, LGBTQ+ phobic or similar are NOT welcome. This blog is one about love. We DO NOT welcome those who are hateful.
4) If something comes up and you need to drop out, that's ok! But please let us know with plenty of time (at LEAST 48 hours) so we can message a pinch hitter to help out!
5) Please don't submit nsfw art for art references or for your finished art piece. (Nude references are fine as long as they are not explicit.) This is a family friendly event. You will be blacklisted from participating again should you violate this rule in any way.
