Hi! I’m finally making one of these after having this blog since 2020, four years! Five this August!
I first made it after Tales of Arcadia: Wizards released; it was primarily a ToA blog. Over time, it changed into random bits of everything, including my original story and other writing I occasionally do!
However, I’ve decided to do a bit of a revamp again. Namely (…pun not intended), keeping my yapping about my writing here, and putting the miscellaneous bits on a sideblog! My writing tends to get a bit lost in all my reblogs (except for people on my taglist lmao), so I’m hoping it might get a bit more attention this way! ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜

This is a queer, person of color, and generally friendly space. My blog is mostly safe for work, although some of my writing does have blood and other forms of whump. The King of the Nameless is my original story! I’ve mostly written oneshots of it so far, which are all posted on my Ao3.

The King of the Nameless is an adaptation of Arthurian Legend, except… it takes place in an entirely fantasy world. Wizards, demons, dragons, mermaids, and spirits are just five of the magical creatures that inhabit Galdorcræft. Alongside magic being everywhere, corruption runs just as deep in the country of Avalon. Seaside towns that imported benign items like silk are now infamous for attracting contract killers and magic hunters.
The idea of murdering magical creatures for their body parts, as well being a falsely presumed threat to humanity, is slowly becoming more widespread through rumors of what their magic can do to heal and harm, no matter how much Merlin Ambrosius tries to stop it.
He’s a wizard himself, of course. Everybody knows that.
What they don’t know is that he’s hiding a lot of secrets: being the God of Magic and Justice, being born a girl, and trying to cope with madness that makes it difficult to tell falsehoods from reality, for one thing.
However, he has his dragon familiar and found family, Charlemagne Ambrosius, to keep him grounded and understand him when no one else will.Unbeknownst to them, the very heart of corruption is in Camelot itself.Uther Pendragon has just become king after his father’s death, and he’s been waiting for this. Maybe now that he’s ruling, he can finally kill Merlin and rid himself of the rebellious, soft, mad advisor. With the most powerful wizard in the land dead, then no one will be able to stop him from killing the monsters that plague it.

Merlin Ambrosius is the most powerful wizard alive, and everyone knows that. They don’t know that he’s transgender, aromantic asexual, and a single father. His son, Charlemagne William Ambrosius, is a massive (but not really) dragon. He’s an immortal child at twelve years old, who’s also asexual.
They love each other dearly, barely able to bear spending time apart because of their familiar bond. They’re one of the few bonded pairs in the world, and not many understand the true depths of their relationship.
But no matter what, they’ll always have each other.
