I can’t express to you how little I care about It being “queer history”, because every bit of queer history has scrubbed trans women out of it. Oh, it was historically accepted that trans men were a kind of lesbian? Why is that? Did they also accept trans women as lesbians? No? Funny how that works.
It’s historically important that we allow drag? Why is it that making fun of trans women is important to your history? Oh, it’s ok to look like a trans woman as long as it’s a costume and you take it off after? So what happens to the people who want to look like a trans woman all of the time? Oh, you pushed them out and they ended up homeless? Funny how that works.
These appeals to history don’t make you sound like you care about queer people. You sound like a conservative. Do you want to make queer spaces great again? Just make sure you exclude every trans woman just like you used to and then everything will be ok.
A lot of TME trans people talk about “queer history” in the same idealized way that statue PFPs talk about RETVRNing to the 1950’s.
something i think is really funny is when the subject of "is bruce wayne a good person" is broached and most batman fans on here immediately jump to whether he's a good father and if the concept of robin is inherently abusive etc. like its just kind of hilarious that even that question gets batfamdomized because personallyyyyy when iiii first think about whether bruce wayne is a good person or not, i think of the hundreds of people he's beaten every night for the past 20 years 👍 but then again cape comic fans have never been very good with tackling how the genre presents "criminals" as a class of people that is okay to brutalize

Me and some friends were collecting eggs on this farm. We dropped one of them and they went absolutely apeshit over that damn egg. Not even the shell was left.
I know people think chickens are herbivores but they absolutely aren’t.
Chickens are omnivores. They eat meat, they eat eat all sorts of fruits and vegetables.
This isn’t really well known to people who live off of farms or who have never spent time on one. It’s also thanks to tv and movies not showing this side of chickens.
It’s why eggs and chicken meat saying they come from “free-range vegetarian chickens” are HILARIOUS, because if they’re free-range, you can’t control that, and the tiny dinosaurs ARE going to eat a lot of things. You’re not allowed to let your chickens eat eggs purely because if they discover that they can, you will never get another egg from them again. They WILL eat them before you can collect them.
Yeah I was going to mention this. Once they get the taste, they’ll eat their own eggs and the eggs of other hens if they can. At that point, you gotta cull them.

There are health reasons to feed your chickens eggs and even the shell! If your chickens start laying runny eggs (it happens with different health things) one of the things to do while treating chickens is feed them eggs with shell because it’ll get their body producing what it needs to make a shell and periodically feeding chickens eggs will help keep other eggs shell strong. Also I’ve seen chickens still try to protect eggs as long as you aren’t starving your chickens they will not immediately start eating their eggs. Chickens aren’t dumb but they need a LOT of food and a LOT of stimulation and as long as they are very well fed and given forms of enrichment egg eaters are very unlikely to happen. (Source: I raised chickens for years and even raised prize chickens)
