I reblog stuff. Mostly fandom content, art I enjoy, and sometimes political memes. 30s, bi, occasional mature content so minors steer clear. Icon by @the-stove-is-on-fire. Banner is Loner by Mia Bergeron.

Sometimes you send something you found online to a friend because you want to brighten their day, and sometimes you send something you found online to a friend with the precise attitude and bearing of a cat very carefully lining up their paw with the back of another cat's head.

it's literally so easy not to spread or participate in harassment campaigns against trans women. just don't. try that for a while.

guy who sees an angry mob pursuing a single woman in the streets with pitchforks and torches : well I guess I just have to join them in case they're right this time

"Battle stations!", the starship captain cries. All of the translucent touch-screen control panels immediately retract to reveal synthetic wood-grain consoles covered in plastic toggles directly behind them.

Have you guys noticed how much the internet/technology just does not listen to you anymore? I click “don’t show this artist” on Spotify and I get recommended a music video by them on the front page. I click “skip this update” on a pop up every time I open a file organization app and it’s right back there every time. O click unsubscribe on a newsletter and it keeps showing up in my inbox!! I click “delete my account” and the next time I open the website they suggest I “reactivate”.

Power is a funny thing.

The thing about character design theory is I really think we shouldn’t just keep reinforcing our “this is what a sneaky and untrustworthy character looks like, this is what a threatening and intimidating character looks like, this is what an innocent character worth protecting looks like, this is what a smart and competent character looks like, this is what a man looks like vs what a woman looks like” conventions like they’re innate human wiring that we tap into scientifically and not like, heavily societal

NOT staying in the tags on my watch

When I was at my doctor's office yesterday they were playing an easy listening cover of "Africa" by Toto in the waiting room. If you had asked me prior to this experience, I would have confidently asserted that an easy listening cover of "Africa" by Toto would be redundant, but evidently I did not properly appreciate just how easy the listening could get.
