Langdon is back and knows he ain't the favourite anymore, Whitaker is.

At first it was hard, he knows it was all on him. He made the mistake that cost him the relationship. But why Dennis? What has he from all the students and residents for Robby to choose him?

People look at Langdon, they don't look disappointed or mad (Robby does) but they look. Later that day he had a conversation with Whitaker, who got a little bit more confident.

Of course Santos told him everything since they are roommates. And yet the young doctor had some words of encouragement. How could he still see the positive in someone who was at the bottom?

Langdon finally understood why him from all the people. The guy had his way to make others feel human, feel like they are not just workers with no feelings.

If Robby could have favourites why couldn't Langdon? And what if it was the same person?

Robby felt something change, Langdon stopped trying to speak with him, gave his space. But suddenly was close at every possible moment to Dennis. Choosing him for procedures if another resident was needed. He only took the students if they were with Dennis.

People around started to make fun that Langdon now also had a favourite.

Robby didn't like that at all.

So the "silent fight" had begun between Robby and Langdon: who could spend more time with Whitaker.

Santos was at the beginning mad that Langdon wanted to get close to her bestie, but soon it was just too much fun to see the two men fighting in a weird way over Dennis.

"They like the two guys in a romance that fight for the female lead. Who will win?" Dennis would roll his eyes to Santos words every time.

Later it just becomes too much and he begs to get on the night shift for some time.

Jack Abbot may not choose favourites like Robby, but he loves to make people suffer. So every time before the night shift and after the night shift when Robby and Langdon are there, he is more touchy with Dennis and even calls him the favourite. Of course everyone knows what he is doing and they don't mind it and love to see Robby and Langdon mad.

Dennis just wants to live another day/night.

Okay, I know I have the WIPs but like what if Robby adopts/foster the baby instead of going on his sabbatical. Maybe he finds himself getting attached to them (I can’t remember the gender of the baby😅) over the shift.

Oooh imagine rabbot, like Jack steps up to be the uncle but instead becomes a second parent.

It starts with helping out with babysitting. Or helping Robby cleaning the house as he is too tired after sleepless nights. Soon enough it’s Jack picking them up from daycare, sleeping over on the couch. Suddenly he’s migrating to Robby’s bed.

“You can’t stay there another night, come here. Sleep next to me.”

One late evening Jack finds himself in the living room, folding clothes that was oh so tiny. The tv on low volume in the background and Robby’s congested snores echoing through down the hallway. The baby was in a playpen right by his side.

“Bah-bah…” they babbled with their hands in up in the air, looking up at Jack. He looked back at them with a soft smile then went back to folding.

The baby huffed loudly before yelling, “dah-bah!” Still with their tiny arms up.

Jack laughed, “yeah yeah I agree, bah bah bah.”

“Da-da!”

Jack froze.

He slowly looked over at them, still holding their hands up. He reached down and picked them up.

Jack looked at the baby in his arms, nestling close into his shoulder as they looked over at the tv.

Oh shit… he accidentally became a dad.

robby and abbot would treat whitaker with a softness he has never felt before and it would turn him into such a needy puppy that he wouldn't even notice when they were being mean to him.

abbot would pull whitaker down to sit between them as they're watching tv, his shirt riding up a bit as he sinks into the couch cushions. the older men's calloused hands would find their way to whitaker's soft belly, rubbing him gently.

abbot would start getting bored of robby's tv show and press his hand lower on whitaker's belly, finding his happy trail. he'd pinch and pull on the coarse hairs there, just to get a reaction from his pup.

"mh—" whitaker would start to whine, pushing his hips up into follow jack's hand. "jacky, that hurts."

robby would let out a low chuckle and rub his hand over whitaker's happy trail, pushing abbot's hand out the way. "is jack being mean, pup?"

whitaker wouldn't even notice how condescending robby sounded. he would press his face into robby's firm shoulder and nod, letting out more pathetic noises at the attention. his big hand would travel up whitaker's torso, under his shirt, and probe into the fat around his nipple, finding the sparse hairs around it.

"let daddy take care of you, okay?" he'd say in such a soft, caring tone as he'd pinch and pull at whitaker's already sensitive nipple.
