Germany protecting Greenland against American fascism. How the tables have turned...

Germany is getting ready to launch a NATO operation in the Arctic to prevent Donald Trump from annexing Greenland.
This follows the US President's declaration that he wants control of the island due to its position, mineral wealth, and increased military action by China and Russia in the area. He has not ruled out using force.
European nations are concerned about his warnings, particularly in light of the US attack on Venezuela last week. According to reports, the UK has discussed sending a military force to Greenland with its European allies.
Similar to NATO's "Baltic Sentry" operation, which started last year to boost ship surveillance in the Baltic Sea, the new mission, called "Arctic Sentry," would monitor dangers in the area.
The preparations, which are still in the early stages, call for the deployment of British soldiers, aircraft, and warships to protect the Danish island. Europe thinks that this will discourage Trump's threats.
Lars Klingbeil, the vice-chancellor of Germany, called on the United States to uphold international law in a Sunday speech.
He said: "It is solely a matter for Denmark and Greenland to decide on the future of Greenland."
"Territorial sovereignty and integrity must be respected. These principles of international law apply to everyone - including the United States. We are working together as NATO allies to increase security in the Arctic, not against each other."
Klingbeil is scheduled to visit Washington shortly for a meeting of G7 finance ministers that US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has arranged.
This week, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will meet with Denmark officials to discuss Greenland.
Trump has consistently justified a potential takeover of Greenland by citing security concerns, claiming that if the US does not, China or Russia will conquer the island.
Denmark disputes his assertion that Greenland is "covered with Russian and Chinese ships all over the place."
"The image that's being painted of Russian and Chinese ships right inside the Nuuk fjord and massive Chinese investments being made is not correct," stated Lars Lokke Rasmussen, the foreign minister of Denmark, earlier this week.
There is no Russian or Chinese presence in the region, according to MarineTraffic and LSEG vessel tracking.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated that the nation's diplomatic conflict with the US over Greenland is at a "decisive moment."
"We are ready to defend our values - wherever it is necessary - also in the Arctic," she later said on Facebook.
dogs might look like their owners but cat people always have a cat with the same mental illness as them
My last cat was owned by my friend's Trekkie uncle who passed very suddenly in a car crash. The family just couldn't take him and asked me to possibly foster him until they could. I almost immediately adopted him.
I would set my computer to play a video for him when I left for work. He got mad if it wasn't star trek. He learned to hit the spacebar to pause and start it.
I am and have always been a Trekkie. One time I was having a shit day bc I was in the middle of MCAS starting to kick my butt and I was just crying on my couch. He hopped onto the table and started star trek for me
Then he just stared at me like "did that work?"
And this was his staring face so yes of course it did
But I'm forever amused that I shared needing the same comfort show, with a cat
Omg this is amazing
Like learning to pause???
And knowing it comforted you as well???
It took him some trial and error, but he figured out pawing the keyboard in the area of the spacebar made it stop and start. And also at my mouse, which he had stolen bc I was paying too much attention to the video, in that picture
He was a very smart and like. Attenuated cat.
a follow up to this post... mans has so many minecraft husbands that I had to make an entirely separate post just to fit all the tags lmao
literally what the fuck do you mean its still january. how is that remotely possible. its been six months minimum
Happy April fools to this tiktoker and this person alone. I can’t listen to The First Step without laughing my ass off thinking about this stupid goddamn video
probably no one else finds this funny and I’m driving away my friends a fraction of a percent at a time every time I do it, but I think the height of comedy is when you react to an emoji with the same emoji in a chat medium that permits this

literally
to escalate this, react with multiple versions of the same emote because nine different servers all have it available:
