firm believe that not everything happens for a reason, sometimes things are just cruel. and they shouldn’t have happened and it’s not supposed to be a lesson because we never deserved such thing.

hm some people in my inbox got really mad at this specifically. nothing you can say will convince me that some of the pain and suffering we go through is our “fate” no, it isn’t

literally so important to have friends where you can be like “can i be insane for a second” and then you get to be insane. and they still like you afterwards

insomnia fun fact: if you sleep for three hours but manage to get yourself up and consume your requisite meds and caffeinated beverages then you’ll perk up a bit and think to yourself “yknow this is okay, this isn’t that bad.” then you will get to a certain point in the evening and the three hoursness of your sleep Will abruptly catch up with you.

Low-key hilarious how 95% of Dragonborn end up with a Hoard. Absolutely peak intersection of narrative and game design. You consume ONE dragon soul and next thing you know you’ve got 175 wheels of cheese. You learn like 3 whole words in Draconic and you’ve got poor Lydia pack-muling candelabras across the fjords. I personally mostly Hoarded precious metals and gems, but I’ve seen people who Hoarded books and pelts and, like…there is No mechanical reward for this. Players just love to Hoard shit in that game. Absolute Dragon behavior.

ianthe and palamedes are inverses in that for an insane person ianthe is actually remarkably normal whereas for a relatively normal guy palamedes is just completely out of his mind

Fellow transmascs please make sure you’re practicing safe binding techniques!

1. Avoid handling black soul gems with your bare hands for extended periods of time. This will reduce the risk of your own soul being passively siphoned by the gem

Dan and Phil on the set of the Hard Launch podcast. Dan is sitting with his legs crossed and Phil is leaning back with one leg on the arm of his chair and the other bent and tucked towards himself on the seat of the chair.ALT

they are on opposite sides of the sitting gayly spectrum

Anyway remember when I said “kinda sucks that people from russia, iran, syria, north korea and cuba cannot make an ao3 account” and an OTW member answered me like “it’s not like we don’t want CUBANS on this site” so you’re chill with cubans but not russians iranians syrians and north koreans. yeah that sounds about right

And when you ask them why they go “well russia is imperialist” “north korea is undemocratic” “Syria is full of extremist religious fundamentalists” “Iran is too militarized” three of these things are true of the united states as well and the fourth you always without a fault imply when an election unsurprisingly goes right leaning.

What I am trying to get to here is why is it that you think you have the right to hate on regular people with no leverage on the actions of their governments and militaries (a right that is highly encouraged by your hegemony) yet when anyone anywhere else in the world speaks ill of the culture that pertains to the united states of america you’re suddenly so fiercely convinced that anyone unable to separate the actions of a government from the actions of the people is such a mean spirited discriminator that borders on xenophobe.
