When they made the promise to be together till the end of the world, they never thought it was going to be real.
I'm making this basically because, as many know, I'm a big fan of the walking dead and I wanted to put them in a zombie apocalypse for a long time. Besides, Lily Rose killed zombies 😌.
Omg Flor this is such an interesting concept! And for some reason I’m convinced if someone can survive a zombie apocalypse, it’s definitely these two.

Answering the asks about my beloved Ferrante fam made me realise that papa Vincenzo, despite having beef with Tommy for the whole thing with Nina, actually (secretly) likes him. He kinda reminds him of himself. They both come from a rough background, they both took charge of their family out of necessity, they grew up with the same hunger for social redemption.
Just a thought I wanted to leave here.

17. No one will ever be able to fully understand how much the total absence of love affected his life and his way of being. Since the day he was born, he was never loved, no one has ever cared for him. The only thing he knew was abuse, and he had to force himself to become desensitised to it. Mama Ferrante:
The things that make her most happy are all related to her family. The Sunday mornings, with her children stealing the food she has been cooking since the early morning as soon as they wake up (and her pretending to be angry); having her family around the table; her husband gifting her flowers for every special occasions—or even just because. And Pietro. He’s her first son, the apple of her eye😂. Jokes aside, she loves all of her children, but she has a soft spot for him.
Papa Ferrante:
The darkest period of his life were the first years after moving to England. He was around 10, his father had decided to bring the whole family there to try and give his children a better life (he was a sulfur miner. Sulfur mines in Sicily were hell on earth, there’s a whole history about them. This part of the family history is a lore I’ve been keeping to myself for so long, but I do plan to share it fully some day), but reality was much more difficult. They didn’t speak the language, they suffered heavy discrimination, they were still poor. And then his father died, and everything took a turn for the worst. But as I mentioned before, the Ferrante men are tough men. Our Vincenzo, as the oldest brother, took charge and slowly started to build what would be the family business, and once he did, he went back to Sicily to expand his empire there.

And Pietro in particular, as the heir to the family’s empire, has been raised to be confident, and sure of his abilities. Also he’s smart and he knows it.

Sadly, he doesn’t really care, at least at the point he’s at right now. As someone who tries to have as little ties as possible with people due to his trauma, he just wants to live his life like he damn wants to and not give a shit about anyone else.
