the other night i tried to make a curry and i got chilli burns all over my face, so i thought to myself ‘hang on, doesn’t milk soothe chilli burns? it does’ and i couldn’t google because i couldn’t see so i just had to blindly feel my way to the fridge and pour out a bowl of milk, and then plant my face in the bowl of milk, anyway at that point the rice cooker went off and triggered a power surge which turned my electricity off, which i didn’t notice at first because i had my face in a bowl of milk and when i did emerge from the dairy prison i thought i had gone blind with chilli burns. so no i don’t really cook much.

sometimes i be saying im gonna go to bed and then i dont go to bed. frequently in fact. this is because i have the heart of an optimist and the soul of a liar

every time a country is invaded by the US under the excuse of “rescuing” its people, what’s left behind is either a cemetery or an open air asylum.

there isn’t a single case in history where the US actually saved a country from anything, what they did leave behind, consistently, were stolen resources, exploited land, and futures permanently scarred by military dictatorships.

what the US does in the middle east is widely known, what many people still don’t fully grasp is what they’ve done and continue to do in latin america.

they funded, trained, and supported military dictatorships across most of the region, and they infiltrated our cultures in a calculated, orchestrated way that still shapes us today.

to my LATAM stay strong cuz we’re going to need it in the years ahead.

i’ve said the is before but it’s so obvious how this whole ‘narcoterrorism’ thing was just manufacturing consent for what is happening in Venezuela. The US war on drugs, just like their ‘war on terror’, is and was just an excuse to attack oil rich countries. the US isn’t attacking Venezuela cuz they’re evil and bloodthirsty. they’re also not attacking us cuz they care about drug trafficking of human rights. they’re attacking us for our resources. it really is that simple. they don’t view anyone outside the US as truly human and they’re gonna keep killing us until they get what they want. The least you can do as a US or European citizen is to stop talking about the ‘narco’ bullshit. it’s the image the US created of latin americans so they can justify killing us. anyone who keeps spreading it is complicit with what’s happening right now

"for you, i would" is such a gentle and sweet love language like no maybe i wouldn't usually do this but i would love to do it if it would make you happy.

There'll be a moment when you realise you're 27 when yesterday you were just 17; and you wouldn't be able to tell how a decade passed away and your life got divided into before and afters. The fury of youth will subdue and nothing will really change but everything will feel different when you look at old photographs and blurry videos taken on cheap mobile phones. Scents will remind you of childhood and certain friends you don't talk to anymore, hangouts will become reunions and mom's burnt pie will become the best food you ever had. And I know on some days you won't be able to show anything of those 10 years but I hope you remember to breathe, and let go of the knot in your chest. I hope you go out in the sun and live a little, because tomorrow is 37.
