I'm in LA right now with my family and I read about this tour company called Esotouric (cute name, right?). They do tours of downtown LA and there are a wide variety to choose from. The owners of Esotouric research all of their facts themselves and take you to unconventional places. No tourist traps here! The different tour categories include True Crime, Literary LA, Spiritual LA, Musical LA, Architecture, and LA Hotels. It's a bit pricey at $58 a tour but seems like a lot of fun! My mom definitely would think it is a waste of money but if I ever come back to LA with friends I think I would want to do this tour. The Blood and Dumplings tour sounds pretty good. So next time you're in LA, you should do one of their tours and report back :)
