The hollowhead creation timeline is the same, it’s just some characters that have swapped around. Sec, vic, mercs and cg are basically the same as before.
I’d like to think that chosen was actually half ok at manipulating someone to do what he wants. Rather than being obviously evil he’d come off sympathetic, but still have that invasive undertone. Which would be why someone like mitsi would fall into that kind of trap. She a smart girl, but she doesn’t understand the full extent of the people she’s now dealing with, victim never told her about it. It didn’t help that this stranger looked so familiar.
Chosen never stopped being angry, he started the terrorist attacks but never stopped, it put Dark off of destroying stuff because it wasn’t fun anymore seeing his friend in such a state, so he found a new hobby in technology. Something happened before showdown where Chosen found out where Alan was, most likely from Dark finding out about the skygrids, and instead of careful planning with virabots or advanced weaponry he relied solely on his raw power to get his way. Which didn’t help in the long run when there was someone who could outmatch his power.
