hour 100 of thinking about an underdeveloped woman: ok but despite having only eight lines of dialogue she is literally THE most interesting nuanced and tragic character in the entire series and these writers had no idea what they even had. how is no one else seeing this it's literally so objectively obvious

What is the origin of your blog name? “Meril” is the Sindarin word for rose, which is my favourite flower! I just added some extra letters and made it sound like a generic aesthetic blog XD
What’s your “I will always order this” food? When I go to cafés, I’ll usually order a London Fog.
What’s your overused emoji? Definitely a tie between 🥺 and 💖
What’s your current comfort show? Frieren. I’m so excited for the new season!!!
Movie? The Princess Bride forever and always. Ever After comes close, though.
Book? I'm in a reading slump right now, so I'm revisiting some of my favourite Mary Oliver collections (Devotions in particular).
Song you’ve had on repeat this week?…the entire HTTYD soundtrack. I compiled the albums for all three movies into a single playlist and it’s my go-to for any trip in the car.
What’s the last thing you hyperfixated on? I’ve been neck-deep in BG3 since I bought it for Christmas. Please help.
Oddly specific thing that brings you joy? This silly glass-blown cat I bought at a souvenir shop. It lives on my bookshelf and I smile whenever I see it.
What smell instantly makes you happy? Lavender and vanilla together.
Something you loved as a kid that you secretly love now? Going on a walk in the woods and pretending to be a wizard on an adventure with a Cool Big Stick.
What’s your phone wallpaper right now? The Tolkien symbol overlaid on a pink floral background.
Morning person, night owl, or something else? Neither, I function best between morning and night.
If you work, what is your profession? Do you like it? I work in a bookstore at my local mall, and I like everything except for the sales aspect. Till is a nightmare. But it’s a good job for me until I can worm my way into the library system.
