2020 quarantine challenge: take a picture of your desk/study space

ngl i feel like all my posts so far have been of my same desk, and self isolation isn’t helping with that lmao. however, i’m very excited to join this challenge (although a bit late)!! today my classes will finally be resuming after two weeks of break, and i can’t wait to finish this semester 🤠

06/11/2020 — second day of lockdown 2.0, so I’m taking a bit of break from uni work. I did some notes this morning before my online lecture, but now I’m going to spend the rest of the day reading and catching up on my journaling

tuesday, nov 17 • stills from an october diary
a collection of many small moments to comprise of my october diary. last month had a lot of happy moments scattered throughout, but also it was the month where my anxiety hit the peak(!) yoikes ;u; it just really felt like things (that i’m particularly happy about) are always changing and happening to me, and i have to “accept” them. but, at least i think this month i’ve finally stopped resisting as much, which has a helped a lil’ bit! maybe next month i’ll start feeling good about the changes?? haha baby steps u know (´・ω・`)

im super happy with how today went! i got the majority of the work I wanted to do today done using a list. the list really helped me out and I’ll definitely use lists more often now! i think I really need to work on my sleep schedule though.

My faculty made a very strange finals policy for this term, where every final is worth either 5% or 30%. So now... suddenly my arts elective has the hardest final. Wack.

Stay home and stay safe, everyone!

herdrafts These are the books that arrived in my September bookmail: Emily Dickinson collected poems and Public Library by Ali Smith. In the past few weeks as I run out of physical books, and I didn’t feel like reading any ebooks, I’ve been rereading the secret history, updating its review, and reading an interesting cultural-fiction about family life and traditions from a small town in Taiwan called A Thousand Moons on a Thousand Rivers by Li-Hung Hsiao. It does helped me to get out from a sudden reading slump.
