Welcome to hell!

@maybeanoldblog / maybeanoldblog.tumblr.com

I  used to have a Bio, but then I got bored of it.

btw Banette is THE pokemon ever

look at them.  also like, it was made from a doll that was abandoned and “It is said that treating it with enough care will satisfy its grudge and will turn it back into a stuffed toy.” like. it’s about love!!! but it’s also bittersweet, that this pokemon you raised and loved will return to a toy after it feels satisfied.  also apparently if it finds whoever abandoned it originally it’s on sight. Can you imagine walking to work one day only to be fucking ambushed because you lost your polly pocket on a school field trip years ago

hi i made a vampire-themed uquiz ^__^ there aren’t any lyrics/pop culture questions, if that isn’t your cup of tea

rosé

your blood tastes like rosé, a pale pink table wine. prominent flavors: fruity, floral, and light.

Thank you so much for tagging me @callmeasyouwantidk!

Hehe, me and Ukitake as dolls. 😊

Here is a link to this picrew!

You saw the last pair of dolls: Sat next to a dragon plushie. The pair of them seemed to know eachother, and despite not being connected, could not go more than 3 feet away. You saw that they had no price tag, just a sticker on the back of the red one saying 'will pay to get rid of.' Do you take them?

What most people think Banette does when it finds the kid who threw it in the trash originally: “Oh my gosh, Banette’s gonna murder its former owner-”

What I think Banette does when it finds the kid who threw it in the trash originally:

Chik-fil-le sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

4 hamburger buns, split

1 head green leaf lettuce, leaves separated

1 beefsteak tomato, sliced

20 dill pickle slices

FOR THE CHICKEN

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup dill pickle juice

1 ½ cups milk, divided

1 cup peanut oil

1 large egg

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Place a chicken breast on a cutting board. With your hand flat on top of it, carefully slice the chicken in half horizontally. Trim excess fat as needed.

In a large shallow baking dish, combine chicken, pickle juice and ½ cup milk; marinate for at least 30 minutes. Drain well.

Heat peanut oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

In another large shallow baking dish, whisk together remaining 1 cup milk and egg. Stir in chicken to coat and drain excess milk mixture.

In a gallon size Ziploc bag or large bowl, combine chicken, flour and confectioners’ sugar; season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Working in batches, add chicken to the skillet and cook until evenly golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

Serve chicken immediately on burger buns with green leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles.

If you like their food, this post will help you not fund them anymore.

u ever think abt how pokemon was built on the backs of people who were overworked , underpaid , and often disrespected even in death

like lugia was supposed to be a woman the creator of lugia was this suffering man and the higher ups went what if lugia was genderless . a lot of the workers there dont like ash either . a lot of the workers hate making the games and want to make something new and exciting . they hate releasing 4 shitty games a year just like the pokemon fans do

1. You get Nitro type shit without needing to pay a dime. You can use any emoji you upload anywhere including animated ones, custom profile banners including gifs, server banners, custom urls for both your profile and for servers, and all that good stuff.

2. Way, way more channel types. Poll channels, event channels, list channels, media channels, forum channels, and they all look and work differently than just a text chat (for instance the media channels are like an instagram profile where you can click on a big image and comment on it

3. More customizing. Every server has applications you can make before someone can join (like a quiz) and you can also put in real time quizzes and polls right from a chat. There's an overview, members, audit, and applications page above the channels, and the overview is where official announcements are. Way more "official".

4. Every single server can have mini subservers, or "groups", and they can be restricted by a certain role or individual member.

5. XP rewarded whenever you send a message, which can be tweaked by server owners or people with the permission. You can add in new roles a person will get if they get enough "XP" and therefore reach a certain level.

6. No subscription to get premium features. Individual SERVERS can have a subscription if they choose, but that's it.

Woaaaaah, I need to make an acc there

reblogging so you all see it, it's really cool sounding

a quick grass tutorial

I’ve never really wrote a tutorial before so apologies if this is bad

1. okay first thing I do is pick three colors, a mid, dark, and light. I like to check the colors in greyscale to make sure there’s enough contrast between each one.

I then plop down a blob of whatever my middle tone color is.

2. next, I take my dark color and just sort of randomly place it around. I try to make sure there’s a good amount of both the mid and dark tones spread throughout. I personally like to keep it kinda messy. I also have pen pressure on for both brush size and opacity, so I can have some blending action going on.

3. for the next step I do the exact same thing as before, except with the light color.

4. aight this is where we start adding details. see how you just have a bunch of colors and edges where two colors meet? use the eyedropper and go to an area where two colors meet, eyedrop a color, and then use that color to draw in your grass blades. I do this at every point where colors meet. should note I personally like to use a square brush, but you can really just use anything.

5. you can technically stop at the last step if you’re going for a more simple look, but to add more details I go to the “empty” areas of solid color and just draw in random strokes using a color nearby. it’s just a way to fill up the empty space.

6. basically more of the same idea of eyedropping and drawing. for more variety so things look interesting, I like to add random plant shapes.

7. and so the grass doesn’t look too plain, I add random dots of color and pretend it’s flowers and stuff.

and there you have it, this is how I approach drawing grass.

damn, looks cool as fuck!

i put “All I Want for Christmas is You” through a MIDI converter, and then back through an mp3 converter

the result is this garbage

I’m driving myself up the wall because I swear I can hear the vocal line but I don’t know how that could be if it was truly converted to MIDI. Unless you can replicate speech sounds entirely with modulated MIDI notes, in which case I’m actually impressed with this tire fire of an MP3.

the holiday season is almost upon us and I’d like to bring back this absolute fucking monstrosity of an audio file

thanks, staff, for the sheet music
