Following on from parts one and two of me getting frustrated at the lack of Dadzig information on his Wikipedia page and doing a deep dive into pointless and obscure information; time for the final boss line of the vague wiki -

In this post, I will wildly speculate about… 

  • What happened during Papa’s rebel era, and just when was it? 
  • What kind of relationship did Racek and Zizka have? As well as some more biographical information on Zizka,
  • Was Sir Racek a Robber Knight? What did he do to deserve that description, and how should we even define such a term? 
  • What’s the significance of him being Burgrave of Vysehrad?
  • And some general information about the court of King Wenceclas IV to tantalise you for my upcoming post about Wenceclas where I try and explore more of his historical ‘character’ and his similarities to Hans.

oof. tough divide been watching g the show with my friend - we did ep 1&2 one day and then 3-5 another so i pitched e3 as like some peoples favourite some peoples least favourite - and said the thing about how it seems the straight hockey guys are more into e3/skip whereas the gay women yearn for the toxicity and she did not care for them!!! she missed the boys. but we agree that it’s kind of necessary to make ep5 hit like it does (and she was going so crazy at the end of episode 5 it was amazing) but I’m so glad we agree 😆 heated rivalry

heated rivalry Sidney Crosby can I confess that I am developing… emotional responses to certain hockey players. Brad Marchand has wormed his way into my heart hockey maybe this makes sense bc I think if I was born somewhere with an ice hockey culture I would have played it bc I played years and years of field hockey and was not godawful at it never been ice skating though so would be beyond dreadful and am extremely unfit but it looks so fun if you know how to play it!

My local mayor posted this and I'm mesmerised. Every time I look at it I spot a new problem. It's like a rorschach test.

Not only did the AI fail to make a functioning UK map despite TONS of accurate maps available, but then a team of people actually thought "that looks about right, that's probably the North, it's got at least one Hull that'll do" and posted it.

One of the biggest pains with rail in the north is having to cross the pennines (it's an issue by road too).

Relocating Manchester Piccadilly to the east of the pennines is clearly a solution to that problem, resulting in much faster connections between Manchester and eastern cities like York, Hull, York, and Hull.

You get it! It’ll take a lot of work, but if we simply align the existing infrastructure with this vision, I reckon we can really identify the roadblocks (Warringtons) to unlocking the potential (Warrington) of the North (Warrington).

I'm about to use language I don't normally use on my "professional" platform, but because my fandom interests often bleed over I'm gonna say this the once and yes please do reblog and run and tell everybody I said it:

🤷🏾‍♀️ period. The Mediterranean ≠ White. White people did not invent boats or trade. People have existed and were doing plenty of things outside of Europeans the entire time. I need y'all to let go of that bias. If YOU can get somewhere, WE can. No matter where you go on this planet, we may be a minority, but odds are we will be there.

If the idea that Black people existing is going to cause you defensiveness you're unwilling to question (historical, fictional, or whatever) I request you gone head and block me. This is not the space for you. I'm not arguing. I don't have the patience to entertain devil's advocacy over our existence and proper depiction. I shouldn't have to. If you want to argue racism on the side of racism (and no, you don't have to intend to do so, in order to still do so) I am going to treat you like that's what you are doing. 🙏🏾 Thank you.
