OK SO ✧ INTRO TO MY ORIGINAL SETTING before i make a new prettier one

Synopsis: A fantasy setting set in a vague early-industrial Europe. The protagonist is a half-elf without magic, born in Alfheim, the isolated world of the high elves. Shortly before coming of age, he realizes he can no longer tolerate his conservative kin and escapes through a portal to Plaindale, a valley of fields. Here, he tries to earn a living and establish himself in society, while also meeting other elves, a local subspecies with a completely different culture from the high elves. This project is a kind of love letter to ancient pagan cultures and a distillation of my personal values. The focus is largely on the characters' personalities, their personal experiences and challenges (often related to longevity and what that implies), and the development of their relationships. i also really want to make another one with this little guy but it's so hard to find a good base-doll with tan skin. I'm really new to this soo coloring the whole body and doing the face from scratch is really not an option ☹️

i really like these chinese blindbox dolls i think they're adorable and have very creative designs but gosh the last thing they are is inclusive

my best bet would probably be that one gyaru girl from electronic cute pets series with the puppy hair but maybe I'm missing something

oh yeah i didn't think of that 🤔 i looked it up and good news it IS possible and ok to do with this kind of dolls but it will probably ruin the face paint (I'm assuming?) and that kinda defeats the purpose then

i drew these in my uni classes while my prof was circling around the room like a damn kite + made an eye contact with me when i turned around and hid my ipad. it was rly humiliating bc at the end of the seminar he called me out on not paying attention lmfao but i guess you have to make some sacrifices for tiddies. hope he liked them at least
